Outcome: Ukraine receives pretty much every weapon system under the sun, short of nukes!
Putin: "I want to halt the expansion of NATO"
Outcome: His actions convinces countries who have been neutral for centuries (and had expressed no intention to seek membership) to join

We should never forget Russia's great sacrifice defeating Nazi Germany in WWII. For too long, we in the West have failed to properly support Russia for their historic fight against fascism.

Looking back, Zelensky's determined efforts to seek peace before war were inspired. There was no doubt who sought war and who sought peace, and the hubris of Putin and his toy Generals was only further heightened seeing Zelensky's efforts.
And that hubris lead to the annihilation of the Regular Russian Army, leaving nothing but half-trained conscripts to throw themselves against the well-trained and extraordinarily motivated Ukrainians. It was, unintentionally, the perfect military deception. The Ukrainians were ready, and no one realized it because of Zelensky's honest desire for peace.
