Discover the art of Tuscan leather craftsmanship – watch Paul Andrew and Cuoio di Toscana’s He(ART) presentation from Milan Fashion Week on FashionTV!
During Milan Fashion Week, Cuoio di Toscana celebrated a major success with the presentation of He(ART), the new women’s footwear collection designed in collaboration with internationally renowned designer Paul Andrew.
Unveiled at the avant-garde luxury concept store Antonioli, the project merges century-old Tuscan vegetable-tanned sole leather craftsmanship with bold, modern structural design and sustainable innovation.
At the center of the collection is The Fettuccine, a sophisticated and playful homage to Italian culture that uses thin strips of sole leather – cut with pasta-making precision – to weave an entirely new shoe silhouette in gold, green, and black.
The collection also debuts sculptural showstoppers including the gemstone-heeled Facet Sandal, the merlot crystal-heeled Disco pump, the metallic Efficient Mule, and the reimagined Softy loafer.
Together, Andrew and the Cuoio di Toscana consortium demonstrate how authentic Made in Italy heritage, vegetable-tanned sustainability, and contemporary design can elevate leather into pure artistic expression.

http://youtube.com/FashionTV PARIS – We’re not sure how they did it, but after the Jean-Paul Gaultier show for Paris Couture Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011/2012, the haute couture models traipsed down the stairs and out of the building. Word on the street is that Gaultier was racing out of the bulding to his launch party for his new perfume, “Kokorico” which literally means cock-a-doodle-doo in French. After the models walked down, Gaultier made his grand entrance with Mylene Farmer on his arm.

For Spring 2027, Thom Browne transforms his signature tailoring into a surreal, living ecosystem where classic proportions collide with the organic wonder of nature.
Unveiled at New York Fashion Week, the collection charts a poetic metamorphosis, where structured madras plaids, grid check pique, and exaggerated tweeds become the canvas for an intricate insect world.
Sequined flies, gold-bullion ants, and jacquard grasshoppers hide among tufts of embroidered grass, while ladybugs, bees, and poison dart frogs come alive through anatomical color blocking, mesh, and patent leather.
The whimsical story builds through oversized wool cocoon sportscoats and sculptural accessories, from multi-colored grasshopper clutches to platform heels draped in leather butterfly wings, before culminating in a breathtaking emergence of low-slung handkerchief skirts, silk duchess satin, and an ethereal bridal finale.
Balancing twenty-five years of precise American craftsmanship with fantastical storytelling, Browne proves once again that tailoring is an ever-evolving work of art.
