The House of Representatives voted to censure Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., after he pulled a fire alarm while Congress was in session. NBC News’ Ryan Nobles reports on the vote and how the censure limits the congressman.

    Apparently this was a door to enter the congressional floor and it was locked.
    I now have questions ehy it was locked just before voting was scheduled to begin.
    “I was just trying to get to my vote and the door that’s usually open wasn’t open, it was closed,” Bowman added

Trump’s DOJ subpoenas NYT journalists over Air Force One story

The Trump administration issued subpoenas on Friday to several journalists for The New York Times, after the paper reported on security concerns involving President Trump’s new Qatari-donated Air Force One. In some cases, the subpoenas were delivered by federal agents who showed up at reporters’ homes. The subpoenas seek to force the reporters to testify before a federal grand jury in Manhattan on Wednesday, and are an extraordinary escalation in President Trump’s efforts to threaten and intimidate independent news organizations. NYT Investigative reporter Michael Schmidt joins Morning Joe with more on this developing story.
