Until Thursday morning, hundreds of thousands of Haitians were legally living and working in the United States, along with thousands of Syrians. Now, their work permits are set to expire and their deportation protections will be terminated, throwing them in legal limbo.

Emergency responders took Sen. Mitch McConnell to an ambulance on a stretcher after being called to his home last month for a report of an unconscious person, according to new video of the incident and an eyewitness account.
A neighbor of McConnell told CNN that they opened their door to find commotion outside their home at around 8:30 a.m. on June 14, with two ambulances, a fire truck and Capitol Police officers blocking the entire street.
The neighbor said they learned from another eyewitness who saw the individualâs face that the person on the stretcher was McConnell and he was not wearing an oxygen mask.
CNNâs Annie Grayer has the details, and emergency physician Dr. Megan Ranney describes what struck her about the newly released video. Also, CNNâs Audie Cornish looks at GOP lawmakersâ reactions to Sen. McConnellâs medical situation.

Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky on Sunday announced, after weeks of speculation, that he had a fall last month that landed him in the hospital.
McConnell also provided a photo showing him smiling next to his wife, Elaine Chao. He appears to have a copy of Sundayâs Washington Post sports section on his lap.

Israeli released Hostages are drugged by Hamas Jihadi Terrorists:
The drugging would have been aimed to make the hostages appear calm and happy after suffering physical abuse, deprivation, and psychological terror in Gaza for more than 50 days.
Dr. Hagar Mizrahi, head of the Health Ministryâs medical division, specifically named the drug as Clonazepam. Known as Clonex in Israel and sold under the brand names Klonopin and Rivotril elsewhere, *the drug is used to prevent and treat anxiety disorders, seizures, bipolar mania, agitation associated with psychosis, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Israel Health Ministry says Hamas drugged released Israeli hostages to make them appear happy.
At a Knesset Health Committee meeting on Tuesday, a Health Ministry representative said that the Israeli hostages recently freed from captivity in Gaza were given tranquilizer pills by Hamas before their release.
Dr. Hagar Mizrahi, head of the Health Ministryâs medical division, specifically named the drug as Clonazepam. Known as Clonex in Israel and sold under the brand names Klonopin and Rivotril elsewhere, *the drug is used to prevent and treat anxiety disorders, seizures, bipolar mania, agitation associated with psychosis, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
The ministry representative did not disclose whether the drugging had been confirmed by blood tests done on the released hostages at Israeli hospitals, from the freed hostagesâ testimony, or both.
Families of hostages speaking earlier to the committee were the first to raise the issue.
Health Committee Chairman MK Yonatan Mashriki (Shas) urged the Health Ministry to send health organizations around the world an official report detailing the evidence of the drugging and other medical findings following the released hostagesâ return.
Speaking before the committee, Shir Siegel described some of the horrific experiences of her mother, Aviva Siegel, during her 51 days in captivity. Aviva and Keith Segal were seized by terrorists from their home in Kfar Aza on October 7. Keith, 64, is still a hostage.

People tend to forget that almost every middle eastern country have very discriminated communities like black people or religious minorities. So why only palestinians get all the attention? Search for it, there's a lot of information about very discriminated minorities in countries such as Tunisia, Yemen, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, etc. To name a few. Yet people never gets to know this information and it is sad.
