The Wall Street Journal has a new two-part feature detailing what it describes as Europe’s ‘rupture’ with the United States following this week’s NATO Summit in Turkey. The Journal reports that President Trump’s tariff’s and threats to take Greenland has sparked a quote, “rebellion” amongst European leaders who are now drawing limits on so-called “flattery diplomacy.” The paper reports many leaders now view autonomy as the long-term goal,. Rather than a temporary measure, adding that even if leadership changes the era of relying on America so heavily had ended. The reporters behind the story join Morning Joe to discuss the ground-breaking revelations.

The Trump administration issued subpoenas on Friday to several journalists for The New York Times, after the paper reported on security concerns involving President Trump’s new Qatari-donated Air Force One. In some cases, the subpoenas were delivered by federal agents who showed up at reporters’ homes. The subpoenas seek to force the reporters to testify before a federal grand jury in Manhattan on Wednesday, and are an extraordinary escalation in President Trump’s efforts to threaten and intimidate independent news organizations. NYT Investigative reporter Michael Schmidt joins Morning Joe with more on this developing story.

thats a load of 💩… he makes it sound as if there was a military type attempt to take the white house. if there was that kind of intent, things would have been much worse than a few grizzly guys smoking in the white house halls. they would have attempted to hold it for a time for some type of leverage.
im not saying they would succeed in the end, but a group of people with will and intent can make it pretty far before they find a proper opposing force.

According to the 14th amendment of the US Constitution, Trump may never hold office again. In fact, anyone who was involved directly or indirectly in a coup or insurrection, may not hold office. Maybe the US Constitution doesn't matter considering how many Republicans who were involved continue to hold office.

If trump believed he had won there wouldn't have been a need for a coup.
Almost a year out he was telling his cult that if he lost it meant the election was rigged.
He was inciting them to take action if the election were to go to Biden.
So they were extremely fired up by Jan6.
Millions of us know that, we watched it happening.
In my mind it is a slam dunk.

The MAJORITY OF AMERICAN VOTERS put Joseph Biden into the White House. Why do the minority of voters who either didn't vote or voted for trump still kicking about it? Trump has admitted he lost but then says he didn't and it was "rigged". Even after numerous attempts to overturn the election he still LOST.
WHY are people afraid of that guy? He loves Russia, China, and North Korea and hates the United States, but people still thinks he better than God. Why?

Trump saying he will pardon himself says it all, his guilt and his knowledge of his own guilt. A pardon requires an admission of guilt. Trump has already said he will use his running as a way to get away with his crimes.

I have said many times before all this came to light during the Mueller investigation that Trump will try to use the presidency as a shield or road block to stay out of jail or from any indictments. Mueller stated that we haven't seen anything until Trump is out of office and his words have so far have shined light on Trumps criminal history, his behavior and his intentions. Trump will do anything and use anyone for his own personal gains which includes throwing anyone under the bus to take the fall for him.
