President Trump launched the U.S. into a new trade war with Canada, imposing 50% tariffs on $20 billion worth of Canadian goods. There are also war crimes on the Ukranian side. In fact, the war began because of crimes by the Ukranian government against the Russian-speaking people of eastern Ukraine. The United States has no business being militarily onvolved in Ukraine at all. This war would have been over in a few weeks had it not been for US interference.
The conflict has become a US proxy war against Russia and a threat to the peace of the whole world. It is madness, but we don’t have a single US Senator who will stand up and denounce it.
