As a Lyft and Uber driver I WILL NEVER GIVE A RIDE TO PLANNED PARENTHOOD. I will suddenly have car trouble.

  2. @Jason_The_Man

    December 18, 2023 at 4:45 am

So I guess they won’t defend my religious freedom for refusing to give rides to Planned Parenthood.

    December 18, 2023 at 4:45 am

Again, these costly lawsuits wouldn't exist if conservatives left abortion alone. Because guess what, abortions have no effect on you if it isn't you.

Unless the fetus and both genetic donors give permission, the birthing carrier must complete the pregnancy contract in a safe and healthy manner.

    December 18, 2023 at 4:45 am

Serious question as I have never used any ride sharing; I believe you enter your destination in the app when you order the service. If that is the case, couldn't the women simply use an address for something nearby, say a convenience store or the like? Wouldn't that get around that issue of the drivers being potentially sued for taking them there?

I'm sorry for all these anti-abortion prolife women but have the wrong end of the stick – it's the rape and incest that is the cause and needs to be challenged and that's all down to the so-called men. Strange how they are the ones passing the laws. I wonder why so vehement.

    December 18, 2023 at 4:45 am

Good luck! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Looks good on ya ya murderers! The way I see it is if they can illegally mandate a vaccine and quite literally patronize, demonize and criminalize millions of entirely decent, healthy, innocent, law-abiding, freedom loving taxpayers for the threat of a virus that has a less than half a percent chance of killing someone then we can also demand and ensure that we value, respect, protect and preserve all completely, innocent, defenceless, living human beings from the moment of conception. PERIOD! #patheticallyhypocricalzeros

LYFT is the government, just like CNN. Everyones too dumb to actually see whats going on. No one uses logic. All a drama and a non stop reality tv show for the dumb people.

  19. @ThruAWiderLens

    December 18, 2023 at 4:45 am

No doubt the car maker will also be sued, along with the gas station that provided gas, the map app that provided directions, the cell phone manufacturer, the company that made the clothes that they wore, the store that sold them their clothes, and even the State of Texas for paving the streets on which they are driving. All are complicit. There is no end to this horrendously dangerous new law.

  21. @giesyw

Why would a driver be sued.

  22. @JustJesstheMess

    December 18, 2023 at 4:45 am

Look, Texas sucks and everything they do is backwards and vacant of any self-awareness of their own population. That being said, Lyft is full of shit. I drove for Lyft for years and this is a company that does NOT have their driver's backs on ANY issue. It would take about 31 hours communicating with Lyft "driver assistance" over in India before the higher-ups even realized someone needed legal defense for this situation. And even then, Lyft would not help a driver unless it was nationally prominent story and it helped their PR.

  23. @cmoudyrybicka

No more Lyft for me, EVER!!!

  24. @SigmaPB777

    December 18, 2023 at 4:45 am

The CEO or whatever of Lyft came out and gave pseudo-emotional speech where she said, "Everyone one knows someone who's had an abortion," and she's right. I do know someone. My ex-girlfriends mom had one and it was due around her birthday. Now every year for the last 22+ years since then, she's spent her birthday locked in her room devastated, talking to no one, because she knows there's a 3rd daughter that was supposed to be here with her.

Gotta love men "are pro-life," so they're fine with stripping a woman's rights. But since a male employee might be in danger now for doing his job, they're suddenly behind us. This same dude is totally fine with a woman not having rights over her own body, but if it might affect a man negatively, well now there's a problem and it's "unacceptable." FFS…..

Your body and your choice till you get pregnant. You want to lay down and have sex then it's you responsibility to raise that kid or give it up for adoption. I love texas law.
Only reason anyone should get a abortion is due to a life or death medical reasons or a rape victim.. Close your legs, put your stick away. That simple. A unborn life is still a life you idiots

ER doctor reacts to Mitch McConnell ambulance video

Published

Emergency responders took Sen. Mitch McConnell to an ambulance on a stretcher after being called to his home last month for a report of an unconscious person, according to new video of the incident and an eyewitness account.

A neighbor of McConnell told CNN that they opened their door to find commotion outside their home at around 8:30 a.m. on June 14, with two ambulances, a fire truck and Capitol Police officers blocking the entire street.

The neighbor said they learned from another eyewitness who saw the individual’s face that the person on the stretcher was McConnell and he was not wearing an oxygen mask.

CNN’s Annie Grayer has the details, and emergency physician Dr. Megan Ranney describes what struck her about the newly released video. Also, CNN’s Audie Cornish looks at GOP lawmakers’ reactions to Sen. McConnell’s medical situation.
