The Senate Intelligence Committee was briefed two years ago that a binder containing highly classified information related to Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election had gone missing in the final days of the Trump administration.

‘Demanding a detailed briefing’: Dems call for investigations into Ukrainian Starlink restrictions
President Trump is facing backlash not just from Democrats, but from some Republicans following his decision to waive congressionally approved sanctions and tariffs against Russia. The White House is also denying that they limited Ukraine’s military operations after their Starlink networks were disrupted this week. Texas Republican Senator John Cornyn called for an investigation into “Trump’s aid and comfort to Putin”. President Zelenskyy also offered his thoughts on the sanctions, noting that lifting them was quote: “wrong” and “only helps the Russians”. Virginia Democratic Rep. James Walkinshaw joins The Weekend to discuss.

Something has perished in this country. It seems impossible to return to it but I believe there is a way. Traumas are healed through acknowledging the trauma, remembering the pre traumatic state, grieving its loss and recommitting oneself to life.
We need to snap out the denying, start the grieving, and fall back in love with our beautiful roots of decency, democracy and love. For this we need a real leader who can harness these great energies and model the grieving process in a way we can collectively participate in the healing.
Any loving souls out there – heal of your own wounds so you can lead the way collectively. There is no other way I don’t think.
