Thailand is ostensibly a happy country, but a coup in 2014 led to a military junta.
And the king is said to be living in Germany with 20 mistresses. Criticize the monarchy and you will be arrested.
And it's a gun society and there have been shootings.
Thailand is a nice country to travel to, but I wouldn't want to live there.
