BlackRock’s Rieder Says Fed Needs to Cut Rates to Get to More Restrictive Level
Rick Rieder, BlackRock CIO of global fixed income, says the Federal Reserve needs to cut interest rates by 100 basis points to get to a more restrictive level. Video description is incorrect. He doesn't say "cut interest rates by 100 basis poionts to get to a more restrictive level" He saids "somewhat" restrictive level. Can be interpreted as saying that lower rates will make things "more" restrictive.
