Rep. Dean: Trump ‘Lit The Match’ That Caused The Capitol Hill Riots | Andrea Mitchell | MSNBC
Congresswoman and impeachment manager Madeleine Dean (D-PA) tells Andrea Mitchell that President Trump “lit the match,” causing the riots at the Capitol on January 6. Dean also pushed back on the notion that impeaching a former president is unconstitutional. “And we do know, number one, it is constitutional because the text of the constitution is not just about removal as a result of impeachment and conviction but also future disqualification. The framers knew very much the threat of mobs and demagogues,” she said. Aired on 01/25/2021.

Sen. Murphy: Proposed Relief Bill ‘Could Get Us Through What Could Be A Very Hard And Deadly Winter’
Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss the proposal of a $908 billion COVID relief bill by a bipartisan group of senators as 14 million Americans could lose unemployment aid by the end of December. Sen. Murphy says, “This amount of money could get us through what could be a very hard and deadly winter. This isn’t big enough to be able to get us to the point where the entire country is vaccinated. But it might be enough to make sure that millions of Americans don’t go hungry, don’t starve, don’t die out on the streets this winter when their jobless benefits expire and when protections for evictions expire.” Aired on 12/01/2020.

‘ERODING our democracy’: Morning Joe reacts to SHOCKING NYT Editorial on Trump’s election meddling
The New York Times editorial board is out with a new series tracking 12 categories of democratic erosion in the United States, highlighting the “worrisome steps” it says President Trump has taken toward undermining American democracy. Measuring on a scale from zero to 10 — with zero representing a strong, though imperfect, democracy and 10 representing a true autocracy — the board has moved one category, “manipulating the law to stay in power,” up to Level 3. The Morning Joe panel breaks down the ominous warnings from the piece as the country heads toward the November midterms and the 2028 election.

None of these criminals will spend more than a year or two in a federal prison and they will pay off a judge to get their sentances overturned. Just look at Bill Cosby for instance. During the Trump presidency the Trump family were revising the criminal justice system back in 2017 and 2018 just for this reason.

Keep in mind that the first indictment is only a salary tax dispute with the Trump CFO and does not reach beyond that. The next ones will reach into the family executives who also benefited from the scheme. The final set (with cooperation of the CFO for a reduced sentence) will go after the whole illegal enterprise. The real crimes here is Donald Trump submitting false tax returns and falsified loan documents. Over value in order to get a loan and under value to lower his state and federal taxes. That's a felony that rests directly on Donald Trump. I just hope that the SDNY doesn't stop with the little fish.
@sharisp2
December 20, 2023 at 4:48 pm
The fish always rots from the head. The T Org is a criminal organization, led by a band of crooks and criminals all with the same last name which rhymes with ‘chump’ These indictments are the bottom of the pyramid, I’m sure they will work their way up, layer by layer, to get to the top ‘Don’ of this mob business. I just hope Weisselberg has security protection, if he is thinking of flipping, someone may think they can stop that from happening….
