Jeff represents every aspiring business person who is goal oriented, has clear vision, and who is enthusiastic about starting their business. The interviewer represents every doubting self-absorbed critic who think that they know better.

He almost seems like he's on drugs – but it's more likely just pure intensity and passion. He KNEW everything he was doing and he didn't care if the interviewer or anybody else thought differently. "That's bad math".

Amazon's customer service (getting help with issue pre/post sale) is HORRIFIC. Chaining AI with scripted non-English speakers does not work. However, Amazon's customer experience is, by far, the best out there and everyone is copying them. It's insane that I can flick my thumb and press my index finger in my phone before bed, and have the item I bought in my doorstep the next morning.

  9. @endlessendless2391

    December 20, 2023 at 5:37 am

Customer experience is not the only thing, which matters. Employee treatment also matters. Amazon is exploiting their delivery drivers through DSPs forcing them to deliver in harsh conditions , discouraging them from calling in sick, which is why nobody should buy anything from Amazon.

Meta Is Facing Its Biggest Trial Yet, And Its Future Hangs In The Balance

Published

on

By

Meta is facing what could be its most consequential trial yet, as 29 state attorneys general accuse the tech giant of knowingly designing Facebook and Instagram to addict children and misleading the public about the risks. The states are seeking civil penalties that could approach $200 billion and changes to core features like infinite scroll and autoplay, while Meta says the claims are unsubstantiated and that it has built strong protections for teens. The outcome of the federal trial could reshape how social media platforms are designed and open the door to greater liability for companies across the industry. CNBC’s Julia Boorstin examines why this case could become Big Tech’s “Big Tobacco” moment, and what a loss could mean for Meta’s business and the future of social media.
