Why Tracking Carbon Emissions Is Suddenly A Billion Dollar Opportunity

Published

on

As extreme weather events roiled communities around the world this summer, businesses and governments are feeling more pressure than ever to respond to climate change.

Tracking emissions has historically been difficult, because the methods for tracking a company’s carbon footprint are all over the place. In the U.S., corporate sustainability reporting remains unstandardized and largely voluntary. But the landscape looks better in Europe, as a recently adopted proposal is set to expand the number of companies that must produce sustainability reports. That measure will also require more detailed and standardized disclosures and impose mandatory audits.

That’s where companies like Plan A and Planetly come in. These Berlin-based startups make software that helps companies monitor, report and reduce their carbon emissions, and the market for their services is booming. Meanwhile, apps like Klima, which help individuals offset their own personal emissions, are also growing rapidly.

zero emission means max radiation means when your vaxxed theyll easily drop you with directed 5g beam or by accident because of exposure to high level emf emitting from under your bum from the car or the loading station.

On top of that what happened with the water solution.. you can drive 100miles on a gallon of water and this was in the 80's isnt that way better in terms of emission?

Carbon must go. We need to eliminate all carbon by 2035. Carbon kills. Carbon causes wars and Ron DeSantis of Florida. A world without carbon will mean every day is a good day for the beach. Assault rifles have carbon in them. I rest my case.

The cause of global warming is not known. It is known that increasing noncondensing greenhouse gasses such as carbon dioxide and methane can not change earth's greenhouse effect. As long as water vapor is in not near zero water vapor keeps earth's greenhouse effect in saturation adding 10°F (5.55°) to earth's temperature. Increasing greenhouse gasses concentration can not rase it any higher. The greenhouse effect takes place within 20 meters of the surface. Inferred electromagnetic radiation from the surface loosely interacts with the lumpy electrostatic fields of greenhouse gasses typified by molecules made of vastly different sized atoms i.e. water vapor H20, methane CH4,. Carbon dioxide CO2 is almost inert as a greenhouse gas. After 20 meters from the surface the Inferred electromagnetic radiation is considered to have totally been absorbed by greenhouse gas and further heat conduction is by convection i.e. molecules bumping into each. Greenhouse gas behavior is not active anyplace else than in earth's greenhouse effect. This is high school earth science. Global warming suddenly paused in the early 1990s at a reported 1.1°C and has never reached its next notable increment of 1.2°C. In 2022 global warming was reported at 1.1°C.

So that's how Russia became the sole importer of feul to Europe. Great job guys, enjoy your winter.

Only way any of this works is if you place import duties or taxes on other countries for their carbon emissions on the prodicts you consume, like you would your home country. All that is happening is that western countries are burdening their citizens with extra taxes and regulation. While at the same time becoming more dependant on those that don't care about the issue.

Also let's be honest about batteries and solar pannels aswell. These aren't zero emmission products and require alot to produce and or charge after, let alone shelf life and disposal.

    Also nuclear has been demonized.

These people are so eager to pat themselves on the back that they aren't actually coming up with solutions that mater. But good job…. keep "earning your money for the social good" 🙄

The sun radiates 1376 watts per meter squared continuously which effects the warming of the earth far more than the mere 2 watts per meter squared that according to the IPCC, measured all the carbon dioxide ever put into the atmosphere by oil and gas.
This data comes from ACRIM I AND ACRIM II satellites since 1979.
The data did not show a substantial climate temperature change ,so the IPCC threw out the data, and made the so called science fit their political narrative in their report in 2001.
Basically you climate warming aficionados are cooking the books to fit your wishful thinking, kinda like men identifying as women and being able to bear children.

Free non nuclear carbon zero heat and power is here

If you fire up a steam plasma, you smashed the matter into just heat light and X rays. Totally carbon zero heat!

Uranium nuclear power is neither carbon zero and or free! And he is horrendously under insured. To either to use the power plant construction, they release the equivalent carbon emissions from a commercially fired power plant for 25 years. Carbon fixed – even for moroms.

    XPRISE CARBON CAPTURE
The heat loss from a smokestack can be forced into a large tank containing hot liquid microcrystalline petroleum wax. The heat will keep the wax at a molten state which facilitate the carbon to be absorbed when combined with the wax. Carbon when mixed with wax reacts like a dye. The wax-carbon amalgamation result in a black wax solution thereby making it impossible for the carbon to escape into the environment. Other toxic particles are also captured in the wax settling at the bottom of the wax holding tank forming into a sludge. A sludge release valve is located at the bottom of the tank. After the sludge is removed more wax is replaced in the vessel working something like a toilet. The sludge becomes a byproduct that can be used as an additive to asphalt for roads or used for cocooning nuclear waste materials for long-term safe burial. The entropy of the Earth has been increasing at a startling rate since the beginning of the industrial revolution caused mainly by the carbon that is released into the atmosphere. Government scientists have failed to stop and prevent carbon pollution from entering the environment. This problem can only worsen until a solution is found before this problem becomes irreversible. It has been discovered that formulated wax has been shown to be the only answer to this problem. William Nelson

Who cares what the corporations report when "tracking" their emissions. For example, in a box there is a apple. A man adds one apple and reports his addition. Are you going to say that if he didn't report the apple he added, no one would be able to say there are now 2 apples in the box? Back to reality: you would say "hey bud, there's a lot of carbon coming from your company and you don't pay that much in emissions taxes… What's going on dude?" But besides that the whole issue is… Why are you trying to make sustainable energy for cars when most of us don't need it. Look, going on a 25 minute car drive to a minimum wage job is not worth this human suffering that has to be endured for a sustainable fuel source for that endeavor…. Use fossil fuels with a brain, not as cowboys… We are a society not the wild west. Dude factories have made jobs obsolete for some and for society to adjust to hat reality has had terrible consequences bc everyone knows if you don't have a job you are worthless or already rich. Wrong! If the people who don't need to work just stayed home and enjoyed it while letting robots do all the work we would say the environment faster that way. Also trucks gas price would plummet making food even cheaper for shipping.

You're trying to decrease emissions, I'm going to increase emissions and make a lot of money, committed to saving money and economic benefits. Warming for me is just a three or five degrees increase in temperature, no direct impact So I chose cheaper products I sneer at environmentally friendly expensive products I'm even happy to see other countries being severely affected because it means they're going down. The value of taiwan is relatively high even without promotion

We have printed Billions of $ in the U.S. and have given the money to reduce carbon emissions. Well, a virus actually DID reduce carbon emissions but now we are back on track to use more than ever. It hurts my brain to think how gullible the American people are. If we printed then shipped off $100 Billion/year to Third World countries all in the name of Global Warming, is there anyone out there who really believes it will reduce carbon emissions one ounce from those third world countries? Flash! The money will line the Third World politicians pockets so they can buy chateaus in France, flats in London, as well as pad their off shore banking accounts. Not one dime will ever be used to reduce carbon emissions. Not one dime.

All of this data management is meaningless unless the source of the carbon emissions is accurately recorded. I'm not talking about some guy entering information into a database. I'm talking actual instrumentation precisely recording and logging in real time how much CO2 gas is leaving a particular facility.

So my question is…how are these companies actually measuring the volume of CO2 gas going into the air?

Meta Is Facing Its Biggest Trial Yet, And Its Future Hangs In The Balance

Published

on

By

Meta is facing what could be its most consequential trial yet, as 29 state attorneys general accuse the tech giant of knowingly designing Facebook and Instagram to addict children and misleading the public about the risks. The states are seeking civil penalties that could approach $200 billion and changes to core features like infinite scroll and autoplay, while Meta says the claims are unsubstantiated and that it has built strong protections for teens. The outcome of the federal trial could reshape how social media platforms are designed and open the door to greater liability for companies across the industry. CNBC’s Julia Boorstin examines why this case could become Big Tech’s “Big Tobacco” moment, and what a loss could mean for Meta’s business and the future of social media.
