We live in dangerous times , because the world is dangerous. I agree with Schwarzenegger as to the issue of hate. Everyone in America seems to hate everyone else and hate seems to grow even in the worst soil like an unwanted weed. But people can feed off these weeds if they are hungry enough and it strengthens them and inspires them for a time. I could see in the days before Obama that hatred and frustration were growing and now we know that both Obama and Biden were elected by the Unions or with the help of Unions so I guess we've got something else to hate. In part we live in a world where everyone wants something. They didn't get that new car or new personal Jet or whatever and blame someone or some group or some ideology. But then if a person is not competitive where does this leave him. I still recall a story that Schwarzenegger tells about someone who asked Arnold for advice on Bodybuilding and he wanted to know how to do better in competition. Arnold brags that he made a fool of someone who was probably brave to talk to the superstar athlete. A lot of people compete because they want to succeed and apparently even with Arnold this leads to hate. I'm somewhat competitive myself and I resent when I've been hurt by dirty tricks and been deliberately led into failure by people who hated me. Yes. I've also been the victim of hate. The truth is, Arnold, every young male in America wants at some time in his life to be a huge athlete. We all don't get the sponsors or the help.

Well spoken overview by Arnold Schwarzenegger regarding the depth of hateful positioning in the USA. His comment that no one is properly covering this phenomena is not fully presented. The major media outlets are not covering this hate well or in depth. Independent news such as Truthdig and Democracy Now! are two examples of long established, well informed news agencies covering the spectrum of hate.
