You can't expect any Russian to actually speak their mind about the assassination of political opposition and oppression

Ok, a trade. The US gets rid mindless biden, and Russia agrees to get rid the mindless puttin and his puppet masters, can we agree this is a senseless blood bath that needs to stop?!!!!!?

Why is this a video titled "What do Russians think of the war in Ukraine?" Which then goes on to be a video of some ABC news dude paraphrasing some supposed conversations he had with Russians, and his opinions on how the war is being framed. Why not interview people and then show that?

Many Russians have been brainwashed into believing this war is acceptable and a “necessary evil” or they’re too afraid to voice their real opinion.

Could be wrong, but, aren't especially <age-40 Russians accessing 'VPNs'? Ergo, all are surely somehow aware of the "Special Operation". How blatantly "Orwellian". About Interviews, would you even utter "War"? Eventually – inevitably – there'll be mounting internal pressures from virtually every pressure point once all of 'em realize and feel the emerging 'Bigger Picture'
of what'll be a virtually "alone" Russia; of a pre-'80s Russia hungering for Goods – never mind those that'd be Western sourced. How 'bout International sports, culture, technology, travel, finance, et al. Ultimately, Russians will for generations carry a 21st century version of Germany and Japan's military burdens of shame, but, appreciate that WW2's indiscriminate Bombing was universal. Can't imagine Russia's more aware people's growing sense of despair. Ya know, despite our shortcomings in especially the Anglo-World, what's uniquely ours to appreciate is our history of havin' never been occupied by a non-Anglo since 1066AD; that is, except for The Channel Islands, where practicality trumped an "easy" invasion. Not Australia, New Zealand, UK, Canada, nor, of course, my neighbour to the South, The US. Our common denominator is 'Location'; all of us are surrounded by Oceans, except along the Rio Grande River.

I START BELIEVING RUSSIANS CANNOT FIGHT PROPERLY, AND THEY ARE JUST A BUNCH OF CHICKEN “S**T” TOO AFRAID TO FIGHT. IF THEY WANT TO SHOW THEIR COURAGE LIKE THE UKRAINIANS, THEY SHOULD FIGHT AGAINST PUTIN INSTEAD FIGHTING AGAINST UKRAINE. THEY ALL SHOULD COME IN MASSES TO THE STREETS AND SHOW THE WORLD HOW MUCH THEY REALLY CARE FOR WHAT IS HAPPENING IN UKRAINE, BUT ALSO FOR WHAT IS HAPPENING IN KREMLIN ABOUT THEIR LACK OF DEMOCRACY. WHAT YOU THINK PUTIN IS GOING TO DO? ARREST ALL 140 MILLIONS OF RUSSIANS CITIZENS? INSTEAD OF THAT, YOU HAVE RUSSIANS DINING OUT, GOING TO CLUBS, PARTIES AND GIGS, SINCE NOW-A-DAYS IN RUSSIA, NOTHING IS HAPPENING BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT BEING DEMOLISHED BRICK BY BRICK OR STONE BY STONE. BUT INSTEAD, THEY ARE BEING DEMOLISHED SOUL BY SOUL, FREEDOM BY FREEDOM FOR A POSSIBLE FUTURE DICTATORSHIP WHO WOULD RUN YOUR COUNTRY LIKE AN LIFE IMPRISONMENT FACILITY. IT'S UP TO YOU TO DO SOMETHING SINCE YOUR DAMAGE WILL BE THERE FOREVER. THINK, REFLECT AND ACT

After Russia has defeated German army in the WW2 with the allies, they went to Germany and raped more than 200 000 women and they occupied the countries previously dominated by Nazis. It was not liberation, it was more like under new evil direction. Because Russia is as evil as Nazi or worse. Ordinary German could say that they shouldn't be blamed by gov actions but Russia thought that they should.. Hopefully, this will not fire back against ordinary Russian women for supporting their country's attrocities as they thought the German women deserved and now Ukrainyan women.

I live in Russia, but I am half Ukrainian. And I want to tell you that everything this journalist says is true. I support what Putin is doing now in Ukraine, because this is really a war against Nazism, even if your media say otherwise. This war has been going on for 8 years, 13,000 residents of Donbass (in eastern Ukraine) have been killed by the Ukrainian army, simply because they sympathize with Russia and speak Russian. It is not our fault that people in the West live in an alternate reality and do not know about the Nazi battalions in Ukraine. We are tired of explaining to you elementary things about this situation. Do you think we are really worried that McDonald's or Western brands have left us? I pray they never return to our country. Any normal person understands that this is bad food and bad clothes. When we lived in the USSR, we did not understand how beautiful our country is and idealized the West. Now we understand what a mistake we made by opening up to the Western world. The West turned out to be a lazy, boring and degrading society, listening to propaganda and not interested in anything but themselves. Western civilization has lost its appeal and is like an old woman who thinks she is still young and everyone is in love with her and looking for her attention. Come to reality – it's not like that for a long time. And when you say that Russia will be isolated from the whole world, do not forget that the West is only part of the world, a smaller part, but not the whole world. The whole world is not going to isolate Russia

Gosh Russian churches in my country have been vandalised. Said to other people there a bad people and good people and every country including mine. And the proof is in the fact that there are brave Russians who are protesting against they war. It's the government. They're criminals. I saw a video of a captioned Russian Soldier. Sitting on the road and said with broken English while crying, I not want to go to war, I not want to kill people. OMG the buildings just disappeared, it's a horror show! 🙏😢🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦.
Reason I put 3 flags is also a way of signalling SOS.

They feel sorry for fast food more than for Ukrainians. So, dear foreigners, every time you pity russians, think of innocent children, dying under the bombs of ordinary russians' brothers, husbands, fathers and think of women being raped by them. Maybe it will help.

  36. @florintrifan935

    December 21, 2023 at 3:45 am

But everybody knows the prognosis. No matter if Russia would prevail, it will pay for every window broken. 600 billion $ are locked and only the difference after paying all the damages will be returned. If damages already seem higher than this, so your children and grandchildren will pay up to the last window broken. Even human losses will be computed: 20 million $ for a baby, 10 million $ a young adult, 5 million an adult, and around 2 million $ an elder. So, go on with the party, poor Russian people will pay for the next 100 years. How much you spent in 2 weeks, 500 billions, 600? Don't worry, they will be computed fairly and completely at the international court of justice.

Russians have been taught to hate the west since before they were born. Russia is using the west and nato just as an excuse to execute his own neighbors. It continues to blame the west 24 hrs a way on Russian tv and media. They banned social media so that they could invent their own narratives.

I am a Romanian citizen. So pardon my english. As you might know Romania was under comunist law till 1989 when Romanian people decided to regain their freedom, of knowledge most of all, by commiting murder to the president Ceausescu and his wife after a unlawful military trial. Yes under comunism regime there's mostly propaganda, yes I'm convinced russian citizens don't have easy acces to information of what's really happening but I'm telling you THERE ARE WAYS!! I'm betting everything on this! As I remember all the stories of my parents and how people would wait for the dawn and get together discreetly in one small flat to listen to foreign radio news and they would share the news to others and so many other ways they would always made sure they're on top of the propaganda! Romanian military always would share the truth to their families, there's no such thing of military not sharing information discreetly with the loved ones, especially in critical situations! There's no such thing of people believing and accepting the propaganda when you see censorship everywhere around you! The human mind is curious at all times and behind close doors I'm certain russians are getting informed of what really happens! The russians know! They put their own comfort on top of human life, that's what it is for me ! They can bullshit people who never lived under comunism regime, they cannot bullshit us! I m not judging, you cannot judge someone who decides to stay quiet for safety reasons. But I m not gonna pretend I believe they don't know! You have my own country as an example if you really want to get rid of your regime, you find in yourself bravery to do a revolution and even execute the president for your freedom! There's always ways!

When God came to His People the Jews He came with Joy and Peace and Love and Real Happiness. To save them Powerfully from their "slavery". And they thought He is going to set them free from the Romans to whom they were enslaved at that stage. And He commented that that slavery is not the slavery that matters.

They were actually enslaved to themselves. Living the slavery life of a wretched sinner in sin of human existence. And their real "slavery' in this particular situation were their inability to Love the Romans and to enjoy Life with their "enemies".

Seems after 2000 years of the Gospel the human nation still didn't learn? And the Ukranians couldn't accept the "slavery" of their Russian Brothers. And neither could the rest of the "free" human world. Thus they entered a war against the wrong "slave masters" who are not important to their Happiness. So foolish. Don't you think?
