President Donald Trump plans to use part of a primetime speech Thursday to discuss new findings about the security of American elections, among other topics — setting up yet another high-profile opportunity for the president to dispute the results of the 2020 election he lost. Speaking in the Oval Office two days ahead of the planned address, Trump affirmed the speech would focus on elections and a “couple of other things.”
Officials said the speech is still being finalized, but Trump was expected to discuss several topics. He’s still deeply mired in his conflict with Iran, with nightly strikes in the country as he seeks a path to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Even as that war appears to be restarting, however, Trump framed the elections portion of his Thursday speech as the centerpiece.

In a letter to Congressman Barry Loudermilk, Bennie Thompson admitted that rather than turning over all of the evidence to House Republicans, some files were sent to Jack Smith, US AG Merrick Garland and Fani Willis."

Haley represented the U.S. at the U.N.. She reported into State who gave her, her instructions. Haley is exaggerating her value and authority. And she’s using that to get visibility, get invited on national news shows, and eventually to sell books. And if there are enough ignorant voters (probably), she may actually become President. But she would return the GOP to the role as captured opposition for the Democrats.

Liz is absolutely right. A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild the Republican Party out from the Trump era. First step is ousting the Trumplican Karens. We need a way to push the fringes of the Republican Party back to where they belong – the fringes, where they can't be seen or heard from ever again.

The questions isnt if tRump is "Fit" to be president. He is a living breathing man. Ok – hes fit. The question is based on is own words, actions and dereliction on Jan 6th – is he disqualified from being President? If he is a felon is qualified? If he is in prison is he qualified.. Like why are we dancing around the fu..king questions.

A Texas newspaper recently told the story of a young female activist in a Juarez women's empowerment group. She's now one of more than 1050 Juarez murders this year — killed and buried like trash in a vehicle junkyard. Her killing was labeled a '"femicide", the murder of women or girls. Cheney says Trump is a "threat to the republic"- but Trump would not allow people like that young lady's murderers to cross into our nation unhindered — against citizens', Border Patrol officers' and governors' objections. That's a different President.

Oh Liz! The Republican party is un-salvageable. The Republican party was over 10 years ago. The body is absolutely in decay. American conservatives cling to the GOP because no viable alternative is yet offered. You cannot turn the party of viscous, unrepentant racial hatred, misogyny, jingoism and brutal stupidity BACK into a party representing conservatives in the United States. That ship has sailed, sunk and setting on the bottom of the ocean.

One thing for sure I can say about Cheney is that she stood up for what was right and good in the USA – she stood behind her values and beliefs and was even willing to give up her job for her Constitutional oaths. I will always be impressed by her leadership.
