That Japanese smiling story is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. I mean, yes, you have to keep your facial muscles exercised or your face will go slack. But blaming it on the pandemic? Uh, no. The whole world was wearing masks — you don't see anyone else having trouble smiling now. (Besides, the masks didn't prevent us from smiling. People could still see the smile in the rest of our faces and hear it in our voices.) It's their culture that makes it hard for them to smile!

THE ANSWER IS TO BRING RUSSIA INTO NATO. IF CHINA WANTS TO JOIN, SHE'LL HAVE TO BE NICE. THEN WE ALL HAVE TO DEAL WITH APOPHIS IN '29, and survive the new climate.
