How The U.S. Can Build A 100% Clean Grid
The U.S. electric grid is outdated. Designed for a world that runs on fossil fuels, our grid needs some major tech upgrades in order to transition to a more distributed, all-renewable system. That means smart, internet connected hardware working in tandem with advanced data analytics software to ensure that supply and demand are balanced, even when the sun isn’t shining or the wind isn’t blowing.

Meta Is Facing Its Biggest Trial Yet, And Its Future Hangs In The Balance
Meta is facing what could be its most consequential trial yet, as 29 state attorneys general accuse the tech giant of knowingly designing Facebook and Instagram to addict children and misleading the public about the risks. The states are seeking civil penalties that could approach $200 billion and changes to core features like infinite scroll and autoplay, while Meta says the claims are unsubstantiated and that it has built strong protections for teens. The outcome of the federal trial could reshape how social media platforms are designed and open the door to greater liability for companies across the industry. CNBC’s Julia Boorstin examines why this case could become Big Tech’s “Big Tobacco” moment, and what a loss could mean for Meta’s business and the future of social media.

can you please just STOP this BS propaganda of full renewable 100 % clean grid. Just look at the USEIA data and see the % renewable contribution for decades, its still a small % despite billions and decades of investment.

Green power!! What is green power? Well it is not wind only one place on Earth to recycle them into concrete AND Solar well nowhere near as recyclable! Pump Hydro Yes? Sorry 40% more power to pump it than you get when it falls to the turbines so 25% increase in your power bill. How about a dam that has three banks of turbines ? as it is ALL DAMS RUN ONE BANK it can be made to work RDP Marine Australia has the only units

I had to laugh over the quote about Thomas Edison recognizing the grid still today because yes he would, he’d see Nikola Tesla’s grid and maybe by now wish he had gotten off of his plan for many more generators that can only send direct power 1-2 miles, but Tesla left his company over alternating current and Edison lost his company Edison that became General Electric sadly and they too converted to Tesla’s Westinghouse bought system… AC DC, yeah he’d reminded he lost that one

I just don't like the idea of digging up 50 billion tons of sand every year. Beaches and entire islands are disappearing where we can't see it going on. They are on the ocean's now because mining on land is becoming ugly and people are beginning to see, its also easier to make mess of things hidden below the waves. Concrete buildings must be recycled, any thing in the public arena made from concrete should be recycled. Glass also, glass is 100% recyclable as is concrete. Precious resources we must retain and recycle not disregard.

Solar panels are stupid expensive in the USA , in Australia you pay approx $1000 per kilowatt for solar (most of the cost is inverter and installation)
