Market Not Convinced About China’s Recovery, Economist Hong Says
“I think bond investors are very happy. But then at the same time, if bond is doing well, that means the market is not convinced about the economic recovery.” Hao Hong, partner and chief economist at GROW Investment Group, discusses the state of China’s economy and financial markets. He speaks with Shery Ahn and Haidi Stroud-Watts on “Bloomberg Daybreak: Asia.”

US, Iran Exchange Attacks, Apple’s Changing of the Guard | The Pulse 8/31/2026
The US and Iran exchanged strikes for the first time in about a month as American forces hit an island in the Strait of Hormuz and the Islamic Republic responded by launching attacks on the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.
US Treasury yields ticked lower and stock futures were mixed as traders assessed the outlook for interest rates following Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh’s hawkish inflation comments at Jackson Hole.
John Ternus steps into his new role as Apple chief executive officer this week. Ternus won’t have much time before the company begins its annual fall product rollouts. This year the lineup will include an unusually ambitious slate of devices he’s been teasing for months internally.
Today’s guests: Bjoern Griesbach, Allianz Investment Management Head of Macroeconomic and Capital Market Research; James Kisner, Water Tower Research Technology Research Analyst.

Real estate sectors throughout the world are not doing well. Just look at Canada and Australia, people are afraid to purchase houses due to the high interest rates, and high inflation. Or simply put, house purchases are beyond most peoples' reaches especially the younger generations, and this phenomenon is seen throughout the whole world.

They will go long the market (China) that they say they are not convinced. They will go short the market (US regional markets) that they say they are under control. This is how smart money goes!

The most important thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies.
