Foreign depositors have to get their money out of Swiss and European banks anyway because the deposits could be sanctioned or frozen depending on the whim of the European Commission.

What is the sense in buying a failed bank by another healthy bank?
The current financial system and economics that works on GREED of a few managers does not make sense of any virtue.

I am just glad J Pow and team are safe and sound as are all these wealthy bankers sucking the blood out of the common man and woman. They really do deserve to be put on a pedestal since they create and control money from thin air. Such nice people!

It is difficult to invest successfully for Credit Suisse. You can make mistakes in risk like they did and lose money. You can invest in government bonds that are more secure and be subject to credit risk. Maybe you could loan France money to enable Macron to keep lower retirement age.

This week started with a striking warning from the Broadcom CEO, who likened the artificial intelligence market to a “casino.” The statement was followed by strong earnings from ASML and a better-than-expected outlook from TSMC, though neither was enough to stem a global tech stock rout. Bloomberg’s “The Opening Trade” spoke to analysts and experts about what this tells us about the state of expenditure within the booming trade and whether its becoming an increasingly riskier bet.
