This greatly reminds me of the case of my high school friend who was murdered by her father just before she graduated this year. This problem is an pandemic and needs to be handled!

Sometimes parents warn their daughters about their boyfriends but they don’t listen….. until sadly it’s too late…. There are signs and traits to look out for in narcissistic peoples eg controlling, stalking, and obsession the list is endless…

Sadly some societies are still very misogynistic and tribal….Eastern Europe is like that as is Italy….it’s worse in Muslim countries…. Yet the world turns a blind eye… too many men cannot take rejection and won’t allow women to move on it’s about their honour…powers and control….that’s high every 3 days….in the UK it 2 a week….I know South Africa is very bad for femicide… as are Muslim countries….

Psychological abuse is also abuse. Why not talk about all those abusive girlfriends and wives who falsely accuse men of things they have never done, ruining their lives, hurting them for their personal amusement? Just look at how they drive male suicide rate up!

At a high school near where I live in the U.S, a 16 year old student was stabbed 14 times at her school by her ex boyfriend who she had recently broken up with for being abusive. She survived but her injuries had her in the hospital for a few months. There are some crazy men out in the world. Of course it can happen the other way around too, but it is more common that men attack women in this way.

In my country we have a similar story on the news almost weekly. An angry, misogynistic pos kills his wife and sometimes also their kids. Yet people here keep wondering why most college educated women are choosing to stay single.

every death is a tragedy, said so, saying that in Italy is there a "patriarchal culture" is just not true, I was raised in Italy 40 years ago and no one ever suggested that it was ok to be violent, possessive or disrespectful to women. To me and to my circle of young friends was thought the opposite, "never beat a woman" was repeated to us many many times during our young age… in many households is the woman who is in charge for family decisions and man are already discriminated by many laws. I live in the north of Italy, I can't speak for other places, but here were I live you just can't say the culture is misogynistic nor patriarchal. My parents were from 1940's and my mother already used to have the last word on every decision in the house.

In the video they say that one woman is killed every 3 days: it is misleading since that statistics refers to woman killed in general – even child killed by her mothers are included in that number – it is not what is called "feminicide", don't make confusion! The murders of a woman from an ex-partner or a family member are less that 40 each year. Even one is too much, I agree with that, but you can't say that there is a cultural issue against women in Italy, that is just propaganda from feminist groups. Checking on the numbers and you will find that Italy is one of the safest countries in the world for women.

05:10 in Italy there is a crime called HOMICIDE, why do you need to distinguish by gender? If it a woman being killed is it worst than a man murder? Are you sexist???
And, by the way, the murders of men in Italy are double than women, maybe is it worth mentioning to provide a more broad perspective.

I don't date anymore ever since my ex tried to hit me in the middle of the street. I know there are much more good men in this world, but I'd rather not risk it, especially in a world where I have to think about "safe ways to break up." What am I missing here anyway. Chances of getting HPVs?

  22. @charliesargent6225

    December 23, 2023 at 11:04 am

Not to minimize this problem in Italy but out of 23 European countries, Italy was 19th LOWEST, much much lower than all the top European economic countries, Greece 20th, then Cyprus, Iceland, Malta all tiny countries/populations. The rate per 100,000 is just over 0.2. This story makes it sound like a dire pandemic is spreading in Italy. In the US it's 2.6, 13X more. Mexico, which is known to under report crime, is 10X higher. Same as crime…mafia, mafia, mafia, yet Italy has one of the lowest crime rates in the world, nearly 1/2 that reported in Germany, lower in certain categories than Sweden, Finland, S. Korea.

Dominance over a woman, or sometimes little children. This BS is demonic and its roots are deeply embedded in religious doctrines. Islam being the worst. How many Catholic Priests and other Christian clergy have been guilty of pedophilia and PROTECTED from prosecution? I am 71 and can remember the John Wayne movie where he literally SPANKED his love interest for her alleged misbehavior. Smacking a woman around apparently enhances the veracity of the holy erection.

For Americans and other foreigners: this newsagency, who must be on someone's payroll, overinflated a reaction that involved a minority of (mentally unwell) people who decided to protest for an extremely rare occurrence, blaming it on the "patriarchy" and the whole male gender. The reality is this: Italy is, even for Western standards, one of the safest countries to be in a relationship, the people who protested are a politically-motivated minority and the majority didn't care about the homicide or even condemned the anti-male propaganda that came out of it

Doctors push back on President Trump’s executive order to change childhood vaccine schedule

Published

on

By

President Trump on Monday signed an executive order that makes recommendations about the childhood vaccine schedule and said that the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine should be split into three separate shots.

The order is already sparking pushback from the medical and public health communities, which have continued to reiterate decades of studies showing the safety and efficacy of the childhood vaccine schedule and vaccines more broadly.
