As the world’s most prestigious international model search competition, Elite Model Look 2026 continues its multi-decade legacy of discovering future runway icons and top fashion talent.

Founded in 1983 by Elite Model Management – the legendary agency behind supermodels like Cindy Crawford, Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Lara Stone – the annual event attracts over 350,000 applicants across dozens of countries worldwide.

The 2026 global edition features a hybrid search format combining digital applications with live regional auditions held at iconic international venues, such as high-profile castings at Galeries Lafayette in Paris.

Open to aspiring female and male models aged 14 and older, the competition evaluates contestants on natural beauty, photogenic presence, personal authenticity, and alignment with modern high-fashion trends. Selected regional winners advance to the intensive Elite Model Look World Final Bootcamp, where finalists take professional masterclasses in catwalk presentation, studio photography, social media branding, and personal styling.

http://www.FTV.com/videos PARIS – Hussein Chalayan is always known for his incredible interpretation of fashion as art, mixing the two forms to make something incredibly architectural, sculptural, and amazing to watch. Remember his wearable skirt made out of a wooden coffee table? That Fall 2000 collection is still remembered today. The designer says his Spring/Summer 2012 collection is supposed to be abstract. And in the world of both fashion and contemporary art, it truly was. Models came out from behind a screen towards a white table covered with long champagne glasses. A waiter stood waiting with a tray. It was the designer himself. The first girls wore blazers and took the champagne flutes from Chalayan who only gave them to certain models. They walked to the back and stood waiting, their backs turned to the audience as more models in minimalist outfits followed suit. Some clinked glasses. They stared at a projector which showcased circles on the screen. Models moved in a sort of loopy parade. Only some of the model groups got champagne. While fashions began in black, pink, white, and grey colors they slowly segued into lemony shades and prints. As leather, boxy, architectural cuts and floral print took over, the clothes got slightly more futuristic. Model Hanne Gaby Odiele raises her glass as Chalayan takes his final bow. While many couldn’t understand the point of the show, there’s no denying this designer has true talent!
