U.S. gold reserves total 8,134 metric tons. This is a bs manufactured crises to centralize banks and push for cbdc (slave coin) bring back gold standard and stop cbdc and fire fed and get regulars that are not direct conflict of intrest.

Its called market manipulation with fake stock buybacks and faults job reports to justify continuous rate hikes. If Blackrock wiggles its littel finger the fed plans its weeks around it. We need better antitrust laws and abolish the federal no reserve, bring back gold standard.

Powell is responsible for the banking crisis. If he wouldn't have misread the data in 2021, all of our Interest rate related troubles would never had happened so severely!

I think the Republicans are doing the right thing to allow the debt to default. The alternative would mean opening the pocketbook of the American people to the Democrats to keep spending recklessly. Then, when the Democrats are called out for it, they will say well the Republicans agreed to raising the debt ceiling. I hope McCarthy maintains the Republicans position. If he doesn't, it will make the majority Republican House look weak and pathetic. For once, we have to do the right thing and that is to hold the line on not allowing the debt ceiling to be raised for the sake of the American people. The Democrats are wiping out the wealth of the American people and it needs to be stopped. Biden's spending spree needs to be curtailed and he should be forced to compromise.

Yes we ought to raise the debt ceiling but not for the sake of getting further in debt and not breaking the habit but to stay solvent and be trustworthy I'm keeping up with its obligations the same way we have to however we need to work on reducing the deficit eventually balance the federal budget like it was in the late 1990s and start paying down the national the national debt like them before it gets even harder

Iran Drone Hits Kuwait Offshore Oil Rig | Horizons Middle East & Africa 7/13/2026

Published

on

Global markets remain focused on escalating tensions in the Middle East as the US and Iran exchange another round of military strikes. The US military launched a new wave of attacks targeting Iranian positions, while Iran responded with drone strikes aimed at US military positions in Kuwait. Washington says the latest operations are intended to degrade Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, while the IRGC claims it struck a US drone operations center at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain. The renewed conflict has left energy markets on edge as uncertainty over the Strait of Hormuz continues.
We also cover Apple’s lawsuit against OpenAI alleging trade secret theft, Nippon Paint’s $8.6 billion bid for Akzo Nobel’s paint business, reports that SoftBank is considering a stake in Seven & i Holdings, and the death of former Qatari ruler Sheikh Hamad, which comes as Senator Lindsey Graham’s political future raises fresh questions over US Senate succession.
In Asia, South Korea’s KOSPI trading was briefly halted after falling 8%, with SK Hynix leading the decline. Elsewhere, venture capital funding across the Middle East and North Africa fell 22% year over year during the first half of 2026, the UAE’s oil production reached a record high in June, and Senegal’s infrastructure plans face setbacks amid a growing debt scandal. Guests Includes John Sfakianakis, Gulf Research Center Chief Economist and Research Head; Praten Jagwani, UTI International Global Head and CEO; Philip Bahoshy, Magnitt Founder & CEO; and Chey Tae-won, SK Group Chairman
