Has anyone calculated on the inflation rate and the Trump tax cut and how those two things are playing together. Many of the economist at the time and all that was talked about said it could be inflationary, and there could be all kinds of other problems and Trump brushed all of it off and said no no no it’s all gonna be perfect.

I believe the ONLY way to solve the Debt Ceiling crisis – Once and for all is to de-couple the Debt ceiling from the Budget or any other issue and to prevent it from being used by Democrats, Republicans, Independents and others in HOSTAGE negotiations. If we can all agree that we should always pay out bills and not default, Why should this be a Problem?

Our national debt is largely the result of republicon tax breaks for the rich. Now republicons want to take more from Americans by cutting social security, Medicare and other minute parts of our national budget that help the majority of Americans. That is not negotiable.

Interesting. Also there's a bit about aiding insurrections and public office in the section before that, relevant since several people have recently been convicted of an insurrection.

Biden is right not to negotiate over the debt ceiling. It's not something that's negotiable. Republoicans will be harmed the most by their failure to raise the debt limit. The Republicans don't care about the debt when they are in power.
