I want an economist's or pundit's job. You can be completely wrong, still get paid and then make appearances on it.

With markets tumbling, inflation soaring, the Fed imposing large interest-rate hike, while treasury yields are rising rapidly-which means more red ink for portfolios this quarter. How can I profit from the current volatile market, I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $125k bond/stock portfolio.

Kudlow is wrong again. Like when he predicted during Bush’s tenure that there’d be no recession. And then we got THE GREAT RECESSION. He’s no expert. He’s a political hack.

Repubs never could make an economy work with trickle down economics. Bush handed obama a mess the same trump did to Biden. Clinton was the only modern pres with a budget surplus, check it out. Repubs have no idea how to run an economy

The thing that nobody seems to be talking about is WHY the Democrats would want the economy to tank? Why would they WANT the country to fail? Why would they WANT inflation? Like the Republicans all keep acting like it's what the Democrats want. On the part of Republicans, it's because THEY want maximum profits, THEY want maximum control, they want theocratic dictation, but they cannot and do not point to ANYTHING on the left that is even remotely similiar. Meaning all of the Republicans's accusations fall into a vacuum because there's no motive behind ANY of their accusations, other than 'Because the Democrats want to'. What's more likely a scenario? That someone is doing something 'just because' or someone is doing the thing because they believe they can personally profit from it? So everything the Republicans accuse Democrats of are actually confessions, because all they HAVE are accusations and deflection but they have no actual SOLUTIONS. A problem solver is someone who actually offers a solution to the problem REGARDLESS of motive or personal profit, and the problem maker is the person constantly running around looking for blame without offering anything.

Love you President Biden. Trump is the worst President we ever had. We lost more people during the Pandemic than any War we have had. Because of his incompetent. He golf more than he worked for the America Citizens. He Lies so much I don't think he realizes when he's lying. Everything he touches turns into dirt. Every person who hitch their wagon to his Crazy Train crashes and burns. He's Insane on Power that I hope he never acquire again. He's a pathetic loser who couldn't handle the fact that he Lost the last Election. He will go down in History as a whiny loser and his name will forever hang on The Wall Of Shame section in the Presidential Library.

If you're a voter and you believe the economy is an issue in the 2024 election, the last thing you wanna do is put a Republican president in office.
Historically and factually Republicans destroy economies. Trump got lucky because he was handed a booming economy from Obama, and Trump could not completely destroy it.
However, Trump did single-handedly obliterate the U.S. national debt in pne term, more than all of the presidents combined in the last half century. And this horrific feat had absolutely nothing to do with the pandemic.

The question of whether the President is above the Law has never HAD to be asked before, due to the MORAL QUALITY of past Presidents. Trump is the first President which has fallen below that BAR and is testing the Law. The LAW is CLEAR, "NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW" and as an American citizen, TRUMP has to face the LAW for his BEHAVIOR. Trails will be held and JUSTICE WILL BE DONE.

Trump suffers the consequences of poor staffing choices

Published

Jen Psaki looks at why Donald Trump is likely regretting staffing his administration based on culture war credibility rather than competence as FBI director Kash Patel’s antics appear to have reached critical mass, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is spending energy being upset about beards while being unable to end the war with Iran, and Vice President JD Vance is buying himself a multi-million dollar estate in the midst of a political season in which “affordability” is the biggest theme.
