Here’s the thing, if you are going into this highly toxic and unhealthy world willingly then there is no sympathy because it’s very apparent what they do and how they treat you because you are an object. I also don’t agree with the other extreme of normalizing obesity.

This is the industry. The clients pay a lot of money for a certain look that they think markets their brand according to their vision. If you can't cut the muster, get out of the industry. Not everyone is made to be a high fashion model, just as not everyone is made to be a rocket scientist or a classical solo pianist.

You know what would be nice? If they would cast normal weight girls/women. The average women isn’t skinny neither obese. Not hating, but casting „curvy“ (which means obese) isn’t helping either. I always had issues getting in, as I was not skinny enough but also not overweight, just a normal weight woman who is 5‘9 tall. That’s unfair and I still hate all those casting agents that told me no 🖕
