Emergency responders took Sen. Mitch McConnell to an ambulance on a stretcher after being called to his home last month for a report of an unconscious person, according to new video of the incident and an eyewitness account.
A neighbor of McConnell told CNN that they opened their door to find commotion outside their home at around 8:30 a.m. on June 14, with two ambulances, a fire truck and Capitol Police officers blocking the entire street.
The neighbor said they learned from another eyewitness who saw the individual’s face that the person on the stretcher was McConnell and he was not wearing an oxygen mask.

Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky on Sunday announced, after weeks of speculation, that he had a fall last month that landed him in the hospital.
McConnell also provided a photo showing him smiling next to his wife, Elaine Chao. He appears to have a copy of Sunday’s Washington Post sports section on his lap.

As an independent voter from New Hampshire, I have always liked Sununu. He does a great job for NH and stays toward the middle. I wish more politicians were like him!

Had Sununu been the nominee for the Senate his party might have had a chance at a majority, depending on whether or not Herschel Walker wins the 6 of 12-2022 runoff (and of course presuming he defeated Senator Hassan, by no means a given).
His opinion of the institution of the governor of NH is… odd , for that office is one of the weakest in the country (strong legislature + "governor's council"; the governor can not appoint other officers, unlike NJ).
