Engine bursts into flames shortly after takeoff
A Southwest flight from Houston to Cancun had to return to the airport and make an emergency landing after the right engine caught fire.

Yeah it happens every now and then they can fly on one engine you know for a long time. There's nowhere a plane goes that in case this happens they can't make it to an airport every plane is different stop making it so dramatic so a bunch of people that don't know anything about commercial aviation can say oh my gosh 😱 ALOT of things go into making flying by far the safest mode of transportation

As a frequent flyer I feel bad for pilots / air hostess !! Most of them are Obese and people dont understand why. That suffocating dry cabin air + bad high calorie airport food is horrible for plane workers.. I dont know if they have flight trainings to avoid this as I see more and more matured Pilots specially been fallen for this !!

So then wait until the plane catches fire to do a maintenance review they should have done that before takeoff they should do daily maintenance checks every time the airplane land. Before anyone board the plane they should do a thorough inspection of the engine, make sure this field make sure there will be no obstacles

25 years; he was dedicated to that pilot life. Its a shame he wasn't surrounded by his loved ones but as a pilot of 25 years I'm sure he died doing what he loved to do. 💔

God bless the family of the pilot who died. And great honor that this pilot gave his life for 20+ years to fly people to their destinations to enjoy their life's. Hope he's welcome into the heavens pearly gates.
