Rep. Dean: Trump ‘Lit The Match’ That Caused The Capitol Hill Riots | Andrea Mitchell | MSNBC
Congresswoman and impeachment manager Madeleine Dean (D-PA) tells Andrea Mitchell that President Trump “lit the match,” causing the riots at the Capitol on January 6. Dean also pushed back on the notion that impeaching a former president is unconstitutional. “And we do know, number one, it is constitutional because the text of the constitution is not just about removal as a result of impeachment and conviction but also future disqualification. Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss the proposal of a $908 billion COVID relief bill by a bipartisan group of senators as 14 million Americans could lose unemployment aid by the end of December. Sen. Murphy says, “This amount of money could get us through what could be a very hard and deadly winter. This isn’t big enough to be able to get us to the point where the entire country is vaccinated. But it might be enough to make sure that millions of Americans don’t go hungry, don’t starve, don’t die out on the streets this winter when their jobless benefits expire and when protections for evictions expire.” Aired on 12/01/2020.

Trump's increasing desperation and focus on the craziest of the MAGA misfits is causing more and more of his supporters to turn to other candidates. His calls for protest and violence for each indictment and arraignment, etc. have fallen on mostly deaf ears. As justice marches forward and his minions go to prison, or make plea deals, those willing to put their freedom on the line for him are fewer and fewer. I predict Trump will be convicted and find himself alone and broke as the MAGA cult becomes a thing of the past.
