Let me get this straight, one of our rights states freedom of speech, right? Is that right now null and void? He said this behind closed doors, to a woman that was setting him up, and now everyone comes down on him for speaking? Are we now going to be persecuted for our thoughts? I guess we are not free to think or speak any longer.

I noticed there appears to be a placard, and/or sign, like one used in a public protest, behind the reporter in the end segment of the report as she is summarizing the story. Interesting…

‘People are so frightened’: Military experts unpack Hegseth’s purges

Published

on

By

In the aftermath of the resignation of Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, sources told CNN they believe Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is damaging the Army’s efforts to adapt to the modern battlefield as he focuses on culture wars and prioritizing his own image of the “American warfighter,” and pushes out leaders who don’t align with his vision.

Multiple sources agreed with the concerns Driscoll raised: that Hegseth is damaging the Army’s efforts to modernize and adapt to the 21st century battlefield environment – where drone warfare is becoming increasingly important – by firing or pushing out leaders who were spearheading those efforts.
