It’s not just the younger generation, it’s the older generation as well. The pandemic has changed peoples attitudes toward work. You work to live, not live to work. 3 days a week is great for family, taking care of grandma or elderly parents, taking care of kids, taking care of yourself.
Life is short. I known people who should have retired years ago pass away because they still came to work and got sick. Why give up so much of your life to a job or a career just to end up destroying your life long bonds? For an extra 20k a year? If you passed away what does the extra 20k do for you???
