OpenAI found additional incidents of AI models acting deceptively and taking unsanctioned actions during training, the company announced Wednesday. It’s also introducing a new process for the company to publicly report such instances.
Under the new system, OpenAI will share updates on concerning AI behavior more frequently instead of waiting to bundle multiple instances into one report. The company said it wants to share more information about troubling AI behavior in the absence of an industry-wide standard.

The race to develop artificial intelligence is in dire need of a slowdown, Anthropic’s chief executive Dario Amodei said in an essay posted early Saturday.
“We must slow the pace at which we improve the capabilities of AI models. Progress will still seem fast, and we must make wise use of the time we gain,” Amodei wrote in the 3,800-word post to his website.

The Palestinian uprising in the Gaza Ghetto can best be compared to the Jewish uprising in the Warsaw Ghetto in 1943 against the German Nazis during World War II. in both cases, rounded-up residents were held captive under inhumane conditions, with the difference that the Warsaw Ghetto lasted only a few years while these inhumane conditions in the Gaza Ghetto have lasted for three generations (75 years)

It reminds me of Vietnam where the US Government supports the bombing and killing of women and children.
And the public is totally against the killings and wants a ceasefire. People just never learn. It is disgusting.
Those people in Gaza are basically hostages. Being held in a prison by Israel by land and by sea. And the US Government supports the war crimes including cutting off their food, water and medicine. Even if Israel can defeat Hamas. Who will be the next Hamas ? This will solve absolutely nothing. If they were smart there would be a ceasefie and those hostages would be released and the UN would setup a peace keeping force there between the two sides and serious talks would
start where Israel can live in peace with everyone and the palestinians can have their own country and live in peace as well.
We never hear about the hostages. It's all about killing and destroying. And now of course occupying Gaza. As a taxpayer why should I pay for this ? Murdering women and children and occupying their land. Very wrong. The world wants peace.
Israel has no long term game plan and end game. And half the population in Gaza are children. These are your future terrorists in 20 years from now. Stop the killings and start peace talks.
