Nvidia Earnings Fuel AI Optimism | Daybreak Europe 8/27/2026
Bloomberg Daybreak Europe is your essential morning viewing to stay ahead. Live from London, we set the agenda for your day, catching you up with overnight markets news from the US and Asia. And we’ll tell you what matters for investors in Europe, giving you insight before trading begins.
Nvidia gave a bullish sales outlook for fiscal 2028, easing concerns that AI spending is poised to lose momentum. The upbeat outlook offered relief to investors concerned about a bubble in the AI economy.
Bloomberg understands Russia is preparing to escalate attacks on Ukraine after concluding that negotiations for a peace deal have reached a dead end. For now, Russia is said to be weighing an intensification of powerful conventional ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv, including the center of the capital, and infrastructure targets in other Ukrainian cities.
And Iran’s military said it reached a revenue-sharing agreement with Oman on the Strait of Hormuz, as Tehran and Washington’s standoff over control of the crucial waterway continues.
Today’s guest: Vanessa Hudson, Group CEO, Qantas.

Can you please do a video/interview with someone on the very bullish golden cross that already happened on the IWM Russell 2000 and the one that happened on the SPY today for the first time in 2.5 years? Specifically on how this is super bullish for stocks. Especially since we also just death crossed on the DXY and adjusted credit spread swaps. Can you also do a video interview with an expert explaining the reason why people use the golden cross is because it is so accurate, and NEVER been a fakeout that caused a crash. For example bring up a 200/50 MA daily chart of SPY and you'll see on any crash; covid, 2008, 2000 etc the golden cross was never doing a fakeout and crash down ever. It's ONLY ever meant the market will go up for years/months ahead. Also can you get someone on that realizes we already had recession lite back with the 2 negative GDP reports. That's why employment going up makes sense to nobody, because they can't see its over because everyone only keeps talking about what's looming, yet all the data says that's behind us. Please do a video interview with an expert on these signals and how bullish this is for the markets. Thanks for your consideration.

The long and winding road ahead. It's definitely still going to be a big problem, inflationary pressures. Why so many think the inflationary pressures are over is beyond me. The over pricing of the tech call is correct.
