Bill Gates-Backed Carbon Capture Plant Does The Work Of 40 Million Trees

Published

on

In Squamish, British Columbia, there’s a company that wants to stop climate change by sucking carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.

It’s called Carbon Engineering, and it uses a combination of giant fans and complex chemical processes to remove carbon dioxide from the air in a procedure known as Direct Air Capture.

Direct Air Capture isn’t new, but Carbon Engineering says its technology has advanced enough for it to finally make financial sense.

The company is backed by Bill Gates — but also by the oil giants Chevron, BHP, and Occidental. These partnerships will bring Carbon Engineering’s tech to market by using the captured carbon to make synthetic fuels and and help extract more oil from the ground.

Will Carbon Engineering’s technology decrease the amount of CO2 in the air, or is it going to prolong our dependence on fossil fuels?

Removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere is an utter waste of money because there is only one part of carbon dioxide in two thousand five hundred parts by volume of atmosphere. And not an iota of oxygen is emitted into the atmosphere unlike with trees. Scavenging depleted oil wells using CO2 is an entirely different matter. Using stored carbon dioxide as an industrial chemical is yet another matter. But carbon dioxide sequestration to change the climate is a false proposition. Carbon Capture and Storage is being is only being promoted to support a false ideology.

Don’t plant need CO2 to survive I think you’ll find they do! How else do we get oxygen to breathe! Typical man made solution to man made problems that’ll cause more problems! You could’ve just planted some trees obviously as they do the job for free and look much nicer! But no of Course not that’s too simple isn’t it! Another monstrosity for Bill Gates to make money out of! Omg your actually going to destroy trees as well how mad are they? They’re going to bury it 🤷‍♀️😳

bill gates is a criminal… huge investor in geoengineering that is currently destroying everything from the ozone to wildlands, farmlands, oceans, and wreaking havoc on the ozone…

Carbon Capture must be sustainable through a recycble fund itself model. Funding through tax payer funding a scam within a scam or an embedded scam. If you are not able to commercialize carbon capture by creating fuel out of it, its a self defeating model.

Conifers, especially redwoods/sequoias sequester enormous amounts of carbon while helping slow soil eroison and provide highways for mycelial growth and happiness for humans and other fauna. We need to stop the lack of natural/controlled burns just to save millionaires mansions.

  14. @Mveira-hp4pk

    December 27, 2023 at 12:41 am

technically not. does it help hold moisture into soil and create micro climates for living things on earth? does it stop erosion? doe sit effect the surface roughness and boundary layer when wind blows?

Don't forget, foliage needs CO2. If you start going too low, it will harm all plants. There isn't as much CO2 in the atmosphere as they make you think…. We would have plants growing even better if we had some more! They're actually harming the environment…don't let them fool you.

  20. @rmack2x

    December 27, 2023 at 12:41 am

That right there is why "Bill Gates wants to cut down 70 million acres of trees in the Western U.S. and bury the trunks." It's nothing but a money making scheme with him and you people can't (Or won't) see it!!!!!!

  32. @mcrage81

    December 27, 2023 at 12:41 am

Trees and plants Need carbon to thrive.
So that's why he wants to cut down millions of Acres and bury the trees. Make money on both ends. Wake up people. Gates, Soros, Charles Swabb not your friends. They want to depopulate have the globe for themselves with only obedient slaves allowed to live.

  33. @terrylester3547

    December 27, 2023 at 12:41 am

They can capture all the carbon dioxide out of the air ,,but what are they going to do about OXYGEN ,,Basic 101 : Humans breathe in Oxygen and breathe out Carbon Dioxide ,,,The Trees and all vegetation breath in Carbon Dioxide and breath out Oxygen ,,so when you capture carbon then your denying the oxygen it gets turned back into ,,in other words your killing the world , or More Like MURDERING THE WORLD

  34. @orlando9510

    December 27, 2023 at 12:41 am

These people are wicked. If they are sucking CO2 out of the air then where should trees and plants get CO2 from? What's next? Sucking oxygen out of the air?

  35. @nathanfichter8629

    December 27, 2023 at 12:41 am

Let's hear more about how Bill Gates wants to cut down and bury trees

  36. @captaindancypants5405

    December 27, 2023 at 12:41 am

If people cant recognize "carbon capture technology" as yet another gigantic government money scam, then there is no hope. Look at the incredible resources burned to build that monstrosity. No mention of what chemicals are mixed with the air. Where is the proof it take more CO2 than it adds? Any time people say there is "no time left" so we "must invest now" it is ALWAYS a scam.

  37. @littlebrookreader949

    December 27, 2023 at 12:41 am

Does your plant also grow all manner of food, material for homes, furniture, etc., homes and shelter for animals, medicines, warmth, fuel, and reseed itself? What is required to run and maintain, repair your plant? Does your plant give beauty and inspiration as well as trees?

  38. @littlebrookreader949

    December 27, 2023 at 12:41 am

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. CARBON DIOXIDE IS WHAT TREES BREATHE IN. TREES BREATHE OUT OXYGEN, WHICH PEOPLE AND ANIMALS BREATHE IN. YOU ARE PLAYING GOD.

  39. @franciscomoraes8464

    December 27, 2023 at 12:41 am

That is a reaally stupid idea, its like trying to capture the ocean with a cotton ball…

China’s Swagger After India’s iPhone 18 Leak

Published

A leak by Indian supplier Tata Electronics, purportedly of the yet-to-be-released iPhone 18 Pro models, has become marketing gold for the Chinese government. The Communist Party paper, The Global Times, is using the leak – caused by a cyberattack – as a cautionary tale for Apple and other American companies that are in the process of diversifying their supply chains away from China. CNBC’s Eunice Yoon reports.

Why There’s An ‘Extremely Fierce’ Battle For TSMC’s Limited Chip Manufacturing Capacity

Published

on

By

Unstoppable demand for AI is leading to a capacity crunch on factory lines at the world’s leading chip manufacturer, Taiwan Semiconductor. And it could put a chokehold on AI’s ability to scale. Analysts tell CNBC that Nvidia, Apple, Broadcom, AMD and others are locked in an “extremely fierce” competition to get their GPUs, CPUs and custom AI chips made at TSMC. Capacity can’t come online fast enough, despite TSMC’s rush to build new fabs in Taiwan, Japan and Arizona, where has expanded investment to $265 billion. The strain has made one man at TSMC “the most popular person on the planet,” as chip start-ups and big name CEOs visit Taiwan to ask him for wafer allocation. It’s also created a rich opportunity for Intel, as customers look to the long-struggling foundry arm of the U.S. chip manufacturer for a second source.
