Following the George Floyd incident, he had to narrow down his choices to women of colour. At least this time, he didn't choose Kamala Harris to help him garner electoral boosters or ratings. Unlike Mondale who had to use Ferraro for leverage, since due to Mondale's weak track record during his vice presidency.
Kamala Harris like Geraldine Ferraro, we're going against the sitting Vice Presidents at their time of the election.
