The 12-year-old girls accused of stabbing their friend 19 times in an Internet-inspired attack are scheduled to appear in a Wisconsin courtroom today for a status conference at which a judge could decide if their case will be sent to juvenile court.
Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier are charged as adults with attempted first-degree intentional homicide after allegedly luring their victim into the woods with a game of hide-and-seek, then stabbing her repeatedly on May 31.
According to court documents, the girls say they carried out the attack in hopes of meeting a fictional online character named “Slender Man.”

Everyone should receive the max sentence for all crimes; never go easy on any criminal even if it’s their first offense. Stop using mental Illness or a bad childhood as an excuse for your evil repugnant behavior. No one in that courtroom but the defendant behaved like a devil. Everyone acts like the offender’s life is a million times more valuable than the victim’s. This is WRONG! We sentence someone who is evil to so little time and once 50% is served we let them out? I don’t believe in parole or time off for good behavior; how can you give an evil murderer time off for good behavior when they committed murder????? Don’t give a criminal a break; if fewer people gave breaks the criminal wouldn’t have stepped over the line to kill someone. Teachers, parents, judges, and police give criminals a free ride with breaks so they never learn!

These kids needs psychological help, not juvenile hall. Pushing them in an unwanted environment will only cause more problems down the line. You need to catch the problem before things like this happen. By no means should they have stabbed their friend, but I'm certain there had to be a list of things leading up to this incident. Pay more attention to your damn kids 🤷♂️
