This was so sad – I think Cena had PTSD from his first marriage and meeting Make A Wish Kids and being so busy and everything and was so afraid of losing everything that he couldn't bring himself to just open up to having kids unless he felt forced. It's sad because I think if she didn't feel she was forcing him and he was genuine they would have worked out

I don't know why this was recommended all these years later but I'm glad Nikki realized she was the one with the power in this relationship. She conformed to whatever he wanted for so many years. He was so selfish and demanding. She almost was going to give up being a mother for this man, but pulled back when she realized that was giving up too much. And once she exerted her power and said no, he conceded. This goes to show she never realized the power, she too, had in this relationship. And even though in the end, he gave in to what she wanted, I think Nikki was permanently turned off over how stubborn he was on just giving her this one thing, when she had been constantly sacrificing for him.

Having a child shouldn't be seen as a sacrifice or a compromise. He was SCARED and it's a shame that he let that fear ruin something he obviously cared so deeply about. Being a parent is scary! No one is ever truly prepared! But you can't let that kind of fear, fear of the unknown dictate your life. I think he would've made a wonderful father and i think she knew that too

When you have a child, you have to be committed whole heartedly to that child… or else that’s one more fucked up human being being brought into the world. The relationship wouldn’t have worked because I don’t think John would’ve been the best father. And he knows that.

She really tried . I don’t see how a man especially with his legacy wouldn’t want a child . I guess as a mother of four I have a different view , but they’re my world I couldn’t imagine not having kids it’s what life is about. Maybe he’ll realize it one day men can always have kids late in life women can’t , she’s strong to have stood her ground and leave and now happy with her baby ❤
