Psaki calls 2024 GOP political strategy ‘based on getting likes,’ ‘disconnected from the country’
President Biden has vowed to a veto bill ending student debt relief, as 2024 GOP contenders focus on “wokeness,” and other culture war issues. “They are running a campaign based on Twitter, based on Truth Social, based on fundraising, based on getting more likes,” Jen Psaki, host of Inside With Jen Psaki, tells Joy Reid. “It is disconnected from the country.”

Congresswoman and impeachment manager Madeleine Dean (D-PA) tells Andrea Mitchell that President Trump “lit the match,” causing the riots at the Capitol on January 6. Dean also pushed back on the notion that impeaching a former president is unconstitutional. “And we do know, number one, it is constitutional because the text of the constitution is not just about removal as a result of impeachment and conviction but also future disqualification. Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss the proposal of a $908 billion COVID relief bill by a bipartisan group of senators as 14 million Americans could lose unemployment aid by the end of December. Sen. Murphy says, “This amount of money could get us through what could be a very hard and deadly winter. This isn’t big enough to be able to get us to the point where the entire country is vaccinated. He allegedly comes onto stages without an answer because answers are held to unless you are not held to anything. Most politicans. Nowadays.
