I talk to so many people who ask "Should I sell now since the market is up and down"? I tell them that investing in stocks is really not a short game. When you consider buying a company only buy it if you plan to keep it 10 years. What I mean by this is if you do not really believe in this company you are usually uninformed about it and are moving off some idea that someone told you or some other unintelligent reason. Buy what you buy because you believe. We are in a pandemic and this market will see correction soon. We will come out slowly, but we will come out. So buy and keep buying! And if you are in it for the short-term place a "stop loss" that allows you to be comfortable with your risk.

Gee I wonder why??🤔 even after all those bailouts. hey go figure, can’t continue to make money with no consumers. Probably a good idea to start cutting more stimulus checks and increase that unemployment. Other wise we are looking at a modern Great Depression that’s if we’re not already there.🤷🏾‍♂️

Yeah, but in all fairness people who are donating to BLM don't realize they're donating to Joe Biden. They think they're standing to a stand alone organization but it's really being given to him. And there is no way that during the pandemic, slumping economy, and record job losses that most of the money is coming from "grassroots" — You guys may accept Biden's word for it but I don't. Sorry.

A number that can only be positive (e.g., the number of travelers passing through U.S. airports) cannot fall by more than 100% because you cannot have fewer than zero, or “negative”, travelers passing through U.S. airports over any length of time.

I made a few rather modest investments in individual companies There are so many stocks going to rocket in the long run… right now safe to invest in an ETF that tracks the S&P500 and ride it out. I put $170k into some growth stocks with a Financial advisor/broker handling my portfolio… some of my picks are, NVR, LISP.SW, SEB ,DOWJ, BRK-A, AAPL, NYSE, NASDAQ, TSLA, I've had a 110% increase so far this year , just felt to share ..

China’s Swagger After India’s iPhone 18 Leak

Published

on

By

A leak by Indian supplier Tata Electronics, purportedly of the yet-to-be-released iPhone 18 Pro models, has become marketing gold for the Chinese government. The Communist Party paper, The Global Times, is using the leak – caused by a cyberattack – as a cautionary tale for Apple and other American companies that are in the process of diversifying their supply chains away from China. CNBC’s Eunice Yoon reports.

00:58 Correction: The location tag should be Beijing, China.

Why There’s An ‘Extremely Fierce’ Battle For TSMC’s Limited Chip Manufacturing Capacity

Published

on

By

Unstoppable demand for AI is leading to a capacity crunch on factory lines at the world’s leading chip manufacturer, Taiwan Semiconductor. And it could put a chokehold on AI’s ability to scale. Analysts tell CNBC that Nvidia, Apple, Broadcom, AMD and others are locked in an “extremely fierce” competition to get their GPUs, CPUs and custom AI chips made at TSMC. Capacity can’t come online fast enough, despite TSMC’s rush to build new fabs in Taiwan, Japan and Arizona, where has expanded investment to $265 billion. The strain has made one man at TSMC “the most popular person on the planet,” as chip start-ups and big name CEOs visit Taiwan to ask him for wafer allocation. It’s also created a rich opportunity for Intel, as customers look to the long-struggling foundry arm of the U.S. chip manufacturer for a second source.
