    This ivory tower guy, the spokesman, are part of the problem.The agency only cares about legalities. People get on the bus and they're not searched like anywhere else. Just depend on the old-fashioned honor system in these dangerous times. Well this n***a had a loaded firearm and that plexiglass don't mean a thing. I don't know if this driver has had armed people problems on his bus before, but I understand why he's locked-and-loaded for his own protection. The spokesman guy should be fired for sounding stupid. And the driver and his lawyer sue the agency for doing nothng more than putting up a piece of stupid stinking plexiglass. Kudos to this driver, he did everyone a favor and maybe his example will be a trend of the future.

    I'm with the driver. The nerve of Charlotte transit to make a statement condemning the driver for carrying a gun! They don't protect their drivers enough so he needed to protect himself. boycott Charlotte transit!!!

    If you drive a bus in Charlotte then you need to put a security system on all your busses. But until you have a Policeman on every
    bus, a Security, close circuit TV with 8 heads watching those cameras. Are train your drivers to shoot. I bet you have 15% or better in the Army, Navy, Marines, very good training when the were young. Not one more person should get shot By a Criminal In on a Bus—Charlotte Drivers with experience with guns should bring them to work I would feel better, but I have another driver, He needs a guard.
