Just crazy how police and police and city council members and politicians can cover stuff up.
And get away scott free with crime.

I don't care who you are. You know when you're parked on train tracks? That's something you learn as a little kid.
I bet you if it was somebody, Is that was wealthy, Police officer, City council member, Police officers wife or kids in the back of that car, That officer would be doing life.

There’s more proof that Police Departments don’t hire people with even half a brain!

  5. @jbabbott80

    December 28, 2023 at 5:19 am

So…only misdemeanor charges, huh? The police literally put a person on train tracks and caused them to be hit by a train! The legal justifications for minimizing the significance of the police actions here are distasteful to say the least.

Who stops on train tracks? I drove a bus and the number 1 thing they teach u is never stop on train tracks.

Any compitant individual knows not to park on a rail road crossing, and if youre not that smart you shouldnt have a right to be detaining people. Give this cop LIFE in prison. Law enforcement should be held at a higher standerd compared to Civs. They should also have more harsh punishments for breaking laws or violating rights.

Their is no justice here. I feel so bad for that lady and her family. The money she will receive will not heal all her physical and mental anguish. End qualified immunity and this stupidity will stop.

geez, how many trains would you count before falling asleep.

  15. @_CryptoNoob_

If the shoe was on the other foot: meaning if the lady put the officer in the vehicle, the woman would have been charged and convicted of attempted murder… That cop should be in prison for 30 years

  27. @peterangilletta4993

Jail time is inappropriate and solves nothing. The officer is as dumb as a box of marbles. The department for hiring her is responsible.

  30. @williambenglish

    December 28, 2023 at 5:19 am

Bullshit, if it was her personal car I bet she would not have left it on the tracks much less her patrol car with a person in it with cuffs on.

She didn't try to kill her but she has to pay. I would imagine lawsuits have been filed. How that woman survived is beyond me. I have seen this a few times and its still difficult to process the cops stupidity.

  34. @matthews8576

  35. @nightbreed141

The statistics don't lie ! There have been 76% of female law enforcement officers across the whole United States that make the most stupid mistakes or cause accidents while of duty ! Don't get me wrong men do it too but at only 24% which is 1/3 of what women do ! Women clearly do not belong in law enforcement period !!!

  36. @harmonsalmon7739

    December 28, 2023 at 5:19 am

How disgusting to let her off with a minor slap on the wrist! She knew that was a railroad track. She caused the injuries.
Hope she does the right thing! But she wont! She was ONLY crying because she was caught!
Hopefully she loses EVERYTHING, he pay, savings, house, life! EVERYTHING!

  48. @caesar1295

    December 28, 2023 at 5:19 am

She seen the railroad tracks but didn’t perceive them that’s a lie and a play on words told to her by her lawyer to try and minimize her guilt. Police offers need held to a higher standards and she never even attempted to save her when the train blew it’s horn approaching the crossing. She’s GUILTY of reckless endangerment and deserves jail time and the poor woman may be alive but having medical issues for life is a sentence given out by the police officer. Pray for the victim she didn’t deserve this. 🙏🙏

  49. @bernardocisneros4402

    December 28, 2023 at 5:19 am

What kind of a sentence do you think the court would give her and her husband if they weren't cops and her husband parked their car on the tracks and she put daughter in it and train hits the car. Do you think court would hand down same sentence? Of course not. Both her and her husband would be doing time in jail eventough she didn't intentionally mean to hurt her daughter. Cops literally get away with murder.

  50. @bernardocisneros4402

    December 28, 2023 at 5:19 am

What a shocker! No jail time. I could've told you that the night the train hit the cruiser
