they pretend to care for the ones they have sent to their deaths…a sad joke with fake honor…wake up people get out of the army, your fighting for oil not for your country's people but for the governments wants and greeds and not needs…

I must argue, however, that we really need to stop honoring volunteer “warriors” as heroes and those who are killed and maimed as martyrs. The fact that they, their families and communities are deluded about the reality of the matter doesn’t mean that we should indulge them by promoting the fantasy.

Education and counseling, to help them deal with the ugly reality, would be a better path for all.

"Mrs. Michelle Obama" should have been sitting on his right side to look at that side to see what her husband and the people behind him made this man go through. Pieces of shit. All of them.

Mr. President said serve your country by killing people in another country…what a cheap line? The war has cost this guy quality of life and President wife wanted to have kodak moment by sitting next to him…I will be surprise if President will ever see this guy again.

I surely admire this man. He is one of a kind. Like all soldiers. What disturbs me is Obama's behavior. He is the one to send troops over there. But what's shocking to me is when he said that Cory Remsburg "was looking forward to serve his country again". That's totally disrespectful. Oh Americans, the best people in the world!

  20. @vajrarezaalam1262

    December 28, 2023 at 11:47 am

look, whatever your stand is on the war or the US or whether or not u prefer dem or rep, you gotta give the soldier some credit. He sacrificed himself for what he believe is right. Now some of u may think that what he believed in is wrong, but that is not my concern. not many people have the courage to sacrifice themselves for what they consider is right. I mean ask yourself, are you willing to get your head blown off buy some massive IED or be deployed to a war zone ten times for the things you stand for?

  21. @davidellis6663

    December 28, 2023 at 11:47 am

Okay people, drop the politics, This kid from Gilbert, right now, doesn't care about the politics. He deserves our praise.

  22. @swaggedout1995

    December 28, 2023 at 11:47 am

The fact that most of these people are the reason why he was deployed 10 times are standing up clapping is pathetic

  23. @milesedgeworth132

    December 28, 2023 at 11:47 am

I applaud this man's bravery and loyalty.
Though in the words of Louis CK
"If you get shot by someone you invaded and was about to shoot maybe it's not that weird? Maybe it's a tad bit your fault?"

We made a fashion in today's wars, that our rulers stay back in their mansions, with so many security guards, and drones, in order to be protected, and they deceive our young kids, by sending them to war, or by sending mother of our children, to get rape, and get killed, for just a few dollars more in this lowly life. And, when those kids, get killed, they go to heaven, because they are under the age of 41. And the ones who come back, they either have psychological problems, or they have, missing body parts. and it is all for the materials of this lowly life. just like this soldier, Cory Remsburg, who does not have anything in this world to be hopeful, and all he got was 2 minutes clapping at the state of union. That was sad. On the day of judgment, he will be a witness amongst us. These wars, that we have been getting involve with, are the consequences of our own wrong doings. Around 80 years ago, the first world countries started spying, and espionage, on the third world countries, and taking away their natural resources, by assigning puppets as rulers to those countries. They made them stop farming, and husbandry. in order to sell their own products. then, the ugly consequences came back to haunt the first world countries, because of their own wrong doings. That was, when TV and internet came about, they found out, what those first world countries have been doing to them, then they started to rise up. that is how the first world countries Created the Terrorisms. Which is not going to stop.

Swan predicts Trump’s ‘free & fair elections’ speech announcement

Published

on

By

President Donald Trump plans to use part of a primetime speech Thursday to discuss new findings about the security of American elections, among other topics — setting up yet another high-profile opportunity for the president to dispute the results of the 2020 election he lost. Speaking in the Oval Office two days ahead of the planned address, Trump affirmed the speech would focus on elections and a “couple of other things.”

Officials said the speech is still being finalized, but Trump was expected to discuss several topics. He’s still deeply mired in his conflict with Iran, with nightly strikes in the country as he seeks a path to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Even as that war appears to be restarting, however, Trump framed the elections portion of his Thursday speech as the centerpiece.
