One backpack is at the center of a national firestorm.
The always cheerful cartoon horses of “My Little Pony” have made Grayson Bruce, 9, the subject of bullying at his Buncombe County, N.C., elementary school.
“It made me feel devastated,” Grayson told ABC News of the behavior he has endured. “I didn’t think I was going to get the reaction that I got.”
But it’s the school’s response to the situation that is generating controversy.
“The principal told me that we could no longer bring the bag to school,” Grayson’s mother, Noreen Bruce, explained. “That he as a principal had the right to ban anything that he believed was a distraction.”

I went to the school and just threatened the bully with my larger body ….the bullying against my stepson stopped after that …i would've thumped him if it didnt

Note to self: When time travel is invented go back in time and make My Little Pony marketed as "more serious" in order to appeal to older Western viewers Similar to how the Kirby Games are marketed as "more serious" in America whereas a country like Japan MLP would still be Marketed as cute and cuddly.

Typically if I’m a broney or a furry I would hide my hobby. Because the majority of the population hate broney and furry. Even if you punish the bullies they’ll simply stop talking to you. Normal people will be afraid to befriend you because they don’t want to be associated to broney or furry or get bullied. Bringing a backpack with simple color is the safest option.

This video honestly makes me wanna be THANKFUL that my batch chose Pink as our class color, but also more importantly, that I go to a Christian School, where bullying is never tolerated!! And I'm honestly PROUD to be a Brony that goes to LLA!! And also, since my class color is pink, I don't just like Rainbow Dash like most Bronies. I took it to the next level and chose PINKIE PIE as my favorite Pony. Besides, she is more relatable to me than the other MLP Characters due to her ENTHUSIASM and HYPERACTIVITY!! And also that fact, she is the pony with our class color!!
