   It states in the Bible that you are not supposed to treat adult offspring as children, it is forbidden.

   Their comment of “we do not believe the best way to resolve conflict is through the media” just shows the type of people they are. It’s disgusting. But it’s ok to make her do interviews with the media with her brother, her abuser, watching to save the family name. I really hope they get what’s coming to them.

   I'm wondering if the poison in that family isn't Josh as much as it's JimBob and the tone he set for appearances being more important than substance. JimBob's the one who doesn't live out Godly values and is totally self-serving. Josh got so sidetracked, mishandled, and missed out on healing early on. Josh is ruined and he's serving time for JimBob's failures along with his own. When will there be some healthy divorces? Michelle and Anna are in crazymaking marriages.

    Jill has become my favourite Duggar. She has come through abuse: sexual, emotional, spiritual. Under the watch of her parents. Under the umbrella of a cult. No apologies made to her by her parents. This warped system of IBLP has damaged many young minds, as do all cults. Jim Bob and Michelle must be too far in to see their way out.

    Congratulations Jill for coming through and being able to share your experience to help others. You have a beautiful family. God’s love is above the wickedness of man, control, religious oppression, all in the name of power and greed. I believe that you are only just beginning your journey.     Well, that’s why these ‘fundamentalist’ little misogynistic house on the prairie types actually fundamentally differ from the faith altogether. Control freaks like daddy Duggar only care about maintaining an illusion to present a perfect picture to the world rather than having true faith in God and living for true Christian values. Men have twisted faith for forever to maintain control over others. It has nothing to do w/ God or morals/ethics in cases like this.

    Apologies go a long way. So much healing can take place if the parents would just apologize for hurting her. Just a simple admission, “We are truly sorry for hurting you. Please forgive us.”

    That may sound too simple, but that is a starting point, and it doesn’t even involve assuming blame. Apologies don’t have to involve “I was wrong, or this or that was wrong” just a simple admission that what I did hurt you, and I’m sorry for causing you pain.

    Start there. Just start there.

    I don't think anyone is shocked by this. I'm 65 and over the years religion has cause more problem. In this day and age with all the information how anyone can belong to a religion or follow a "god" that is in a "educated society".

    Pedophiles are surely sick, however, one can still hate the sin and without going out and getting a nose ring!
    Nose rings got started as an identification of slavery, it's asinine that we've even come to the point that they're seen as a fashion statement.
    To those of you who don't know:
    People can still be conservative and modest without being a weird freak.
    I don't know why all these interviews keep saying that Josh Duggar did not face any charges, because he actually did in fact get charged, tried, and convicted.
    It's public record!!
    Stop demonizing good things!!
    Still, these same interviewers don't talk or investigate the flight logs and the regulars of who went to Epstein's island, yet people want to lie about the Duggar boy and say he didn't face charges.

    5:18 That makes it make complete sense of how they could give the answers they gave then. I bet Josh was there as an intimidation tactic. I could also see Jim Bob asking Josh to be there whether or not Josh wanted to.

    I could see them wanting to run away from the situation. That’s a real mindscrew because it means you can’t actually say what you think.
