I think this is a delay tactic, trump may say he had bad representation from his lawyers and he needs new lawyers extending the trial

Sounds like an attempt to delay or defer an act of congress. I think that's a crime.

Even when Democrats hear the truth from the mouth of Trump, their first and last reaction is to go into hysteria mode because they know he speaks the truth: Lawrence O'Donnell more than anyone fears Trump because he knows Trump has his measure:

Mr. Lawrence O'Donnell, when Trump's lawyer was admitting to Trump's crime, I saw you with an ever so slight smile & you knew, it was verified by Trump's lawyer. You knew you had him making a mistake, John Laurell admitted Trump committed a crime. Lawyers can be brilliantly dumb. 🤣

This is NOT a news story. This is a fabrication. More BSNBC garbage. There was nothing unconstitutional about this process of verification. EVERY election shows the Democrats obstructing and rejecting the election results. VERIFICATION DOES EQUATE TO INTERFERENCE. Jefferson set the precedent for clarification in his OWN election. Pence and Smith are incorrect. This bozo clearly does not want a “fair” election. It is NOT a crime to be sure that the election was handled FAIRLY. THIS IS A FACTUALLY INCORRECT FALSE NEWS STORY. IT IS A PROPAGANDA HIT PIECE. Meanwhile, Democrats violate election laws blatantly all the time. Never mind that DT called for a “peaceful transition.” The process did NOT change. NOTHING was altered. The result was the SAME. This guy is a bozo.

Trump has lied so much that he and his attorneys can't keep it all straight. Plus, the incompetency of his lawyer is understandable since the bottom of the barrel is about the only lawyers that will take his cases

Requesting a pause in the certification process while the individual states review and confirm that their election results are in fact valid, certainly doesn't seem inappropriate or illegal.
This commentator seems not to be concerned with a fair election rather that the current results valid or invalid are ramrodded through immediately.

John Lauro really makes me miss Fred Willard as a comedic actor. Every time he sits for an interview, I can see a younger Fred Willard as Lauro, reading the lines with a straight face in a way that lets you know you're really watching hilariously funny political satire.

These folks are really relying on the theory that crimes committed in public can't be charged. Its worked for them so far. Let's hope it stops soon.

No he didn't. He said Trump asked his vice president what was he to do and pence answered and he took pences advised. This is called "free speech." Stop using a small portion of what the lawyer said!

  22. @leofearon

    December 29, 2023 at 1:59 am

What if this is just a planned 'scheme' to get himself 'fired' by the Trump team to 'buy' them a little time while they search for a new Defence Lawyer? 😏 (Sounds too reckless for them not to have an ulterior motive! )

  23. @jamesstewart4314

    December 29, 2023 at 1:59 am

You people are so disgusting thinking that you can back Donald Trump into a corner by tripping them up with some words and then misinterpreting it and then making the claim that you say he said this and he just admitted to a crime you know you people are so disgusting it's all abused that are committing the crime against him you people are disgusting

  24. @masterj7155

    December 29, 2023 at 1:59 am

To you Trump was guilty day one he got elected. We're over it. I'm more worried about Biden who caused by mortgage food gas everything to go up and taking bribes about to be impeached in September. That's is what I care about not Trump who you hate my bills are not a popularity contest They were cheaper under Trump both are guilty but my bills are what I vote for. Not working extra away from my family kids to pay for BIden nomics.

Republican Party leadership has so thoroughly debased itself to stand up for Donald Trump in the midst of his criminal prosecutions that any previous claims of principled positions have lost credibility. While Trump may survive his legal battles, the Republican Party has already lost.
