   It's not so much about blacks as it is about immigrants.
   Immigrants from Dominican Republic, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Jamaica, Somalia, etc…
   Just because you have a backwards baseball cap doesn't mean your an American Black.

   He is correct.  We each view "reality" through different lenses.  I might add that middle-America, found so often here, don't want to move on from race….they don't like a black man in the Oval Office. Never have.  Never will.

   America doesn't have a "race" problem. The freaking president is black. If Americans learn anything from this it should be not to dress and behave like a gangster/thug. People, especially police, will treat you like one if you do.

    Well this is just dandy, Thought the Cold war was over? Wrong the US has started a new Cold war with Russia, Thought Race was behind us for 5 decades in American? Wrong now we have a new Racial divide leading to possibly new Race War.

    It's a disgrace that giving people equal treatment is still a serious problem in 2014! Skin color, place of birth, culture is diversity! WE MUST Integrate MULTICULTURAL DIVERSITY ACCEPTANCE as MANDATORY IN ALL SCHOOLS!! Beginning at home, and then k-12, and required in college! It's insane that it's not! Multi-Cultural-Diversity-Acceptance should be upheld in oaths for public office, along with a code of conduct, based on a code of ethics, to remove an official (at least temporarily) for decision making processes that involve conflict of interest, and if the community confidence in the judicial system is to be restored, conflict of interest being removed for decision making with screening as a jury, but for judges and politicians would require transparency, so if public have reason to believe public official not removing self from conflict of interest, transparency requires an investigation, by a legitimate neutral 3rd party, we could avoid the distrust, and the crimes. It's not about color, as much as it is arrogance, somehow people think they are better, or more important than others, that's really embarrassing that the human race is not evolving. It's all based on stupid comments, accepting that! Lies stereotyping a huge population, based on something that has nothing to do with character, or what principles a person has, just like  the whole 911 thing, without getting into that, (outrage and to my point) literally judging 1.6 Billion people based on the actions of a very small group of terrorists? Now ladies who wear a scarf are thought of as associated with terrorists! THAT IS EXTREMIST! A cop shooting a black man in his car, after he was pulled over, cop asks for his license, as he reaches for his wallet, the cop shoots him at least 3 times, thank Allah it was his legs, so he survived! That's the insanity JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS not allowing people to be judged for who they are and what they do, rather than being judged by stereotyping discrimination prejudice ignorance and arrogance! Education is the ONLY PEACEFUL ANSWER!!!  And the only long term answer.

    Gee, do you think so? Whatever makes you say such a thing? I mean the fact that the KKK is recruiting strongly as is the White Supremacist movement hardly points to a racial divide. And of course the regular race riots and shootings of black men by white men who then just walk free from prosecution are just trivial incidents that happen all over the world every day.

    You can hold all the Freedom Marches you like and get the "Whites Only" signs removed but you can't change a culture which is deeply steeped in race hatred overnight. And I don't just mean the South! The "Stars and Bars" proudly flies all over the US and is unlikely to come down any time soon. As I recall not long ago it was flown in front of the Whitehouse.

    Dare I say this…I really don't want to because I only watch cnn to see the bullshit they're spewing…but there's a important message in this video. These things do need to be brought to light…because it can always be better. There's definitely a profound misunderstanding between the way white and black people view things. And I think it can only help, if at the very least, people drop their defenses and try to understand each other better.

    It's more than just race, trying to make it strictly racial is also the issue even tho race does play a role, it's not the only role in this problem we have in the US.
