Makeup Artist Charlotte Tilbury fills us in on the makeup look for the runway. “The stylist wanted the girls to look very much supermodel. All those heavenly girls with very kind of defined, strong, arched eyebrows, contoured cheeks, highlighted cheekbones, chocolate browns all around the eyes, a few individual lashes at the end to kind of wing out the eye, chocolate brown eyeliner inside the eyes and lots of mascara top and bottom.” Model Magdalena Frackowiak calls it a bit of a Brigitte Bardot look. Hairstylist Sam McKnight calls the hair great, sexy, and shiny with a sort of 60s Fellini-esque glamour. The hair is fanned out with a blow dryer.
The models strut their stuff powerfully on the runway, beginning with 5 different electric neon colored fur coats, followed by an array of metallic looks. “This collection is totally different from my usual ones because it represents the style and personality of each woman. I wanted to put together all the different styles I created, allowing each woman to find her style,” says designer Anna Molinari. For winter, she wanted 5 or 6 flashes with all the white for the snow, colorful Mongolian fur coats and big Mongolian bags. Other looks include more prim and proper with beige cashmere and bright and flashy metals from head to toe in cashmere knits that look like fabric and instead, they are knits that have been pressed and laminated. A look of fox fur and sequined pants is very elegant. There’s also a New York girl that likes to go clubbing with shorts, an embroidered T-shirt, and silver bomber. For the finale, there were a couple of evening dresses made for a woman who likes to dress up for an evening at La Scala, an opera house in Milan.
“What I love about the Blumarine clothing is that it’s so out there, and fun and sexy at the same time,” says model Shanina Shaik.

Step onto the windswept sands of Paris Haute Couture Week – watch the Tony Ward collection film on FashionTV!
Staged within the historic Refectoire des Cordeliers during Paris Haute Couture Week on July 6, 2026, Lebanese designer Tony Ward unveiled a masterwork of textile evolution with his Fall/Winter 2026/27 collection, “Whispers of the Dunes”.
Fondly nicknamed “the Architect of Detail,” Ward approached the desert not as a barren, static backdrop, but as a living, breathing force. The runway room was completely transformed into an immersive desert topography, with undulating seating arrangements mirroring the curves of sand dunes, setting a serene, unhurried pace for a collection deeply rooted in the themes of resilience and fluid transformation.
The show’s progression beautifully mirrored the changing light of a desert day. Opening with soft sand, ivory, and beige tones, the palette gradually bled into warm amber, burnt earth, nomadic reds, and anthracite blacks before dissolving back into soft sunrise golds.
The initial silhouettes utilized soft draping, layered veils, and wrapped constructions that spoke directly to the protective traditions of nomadic travelers.
As the collection intensified, Ward introduced striking avant-garde textures, including an exclusive hand-braided silk technique developed entirely in the house’s Beirut ateliers alongside intricate crochet work embedded with hidden Swarovski crystals – a feat requiring five master artisans over 1,000 hours of precision craftsmanship to complete.
