   It’s been 6 years. I lost my home and I lived with my grandma for a year. Though it’s been years this hurricane happened this marked me for life.

   The day i was 5 years old, The day i was woken up by loud winds outside,The day we lost the front tree infront of our house,The day we ran out of power for 2 weeks and water,The day i will never forget (rip all of thos who had died in this terrible hurricane that hit the island that gave life to me)

    I was stronger winds sorry more like 250 mph winds that every single old spice of tress were flat to the ground like I have never seen before

    I remember seeing my neighbors roof went of flying. Honestly the sounds were horrible, and i lived in a forest area the streets were completely covered in broken trees and other stuff-

    I live in Puerto Rico… I turned 7 I week before it hit.. it was my it rst big storm/ hurricane it was terrible. I had my bday party on November.. Nothing happens to my family or house but it did flood a bit.. I was without light until the start of October.. me and all of my family recovers but there is still people recovering 5 years later..

    Hurricane Maria was the mother of all storms. Maria destroyed Puerto Rico killing at least 5,000 people! To this day, the Island of Puerto Ricol hasn't really ever recovered from that hurricane! Maria topped Katrina!

    Pretty sure it was Cat, 5 Hurricane it just reduced 2mph just before hitting the island but those Cat 5 wind were still there. A category 5 is 157 mph.
