Great video! I learned so much more about Vlady during the Cup run. I didn't know he lives in STL during the off season? No surprise STL took him under they're wing when he first came here. That's the way St. Louisans are 😁. He didn't speak English when he came here and learned it on his own since becoming a BLUE and now speaks pretty good English. His players love him and his awesome low key personality based on everything I have read and heard. It appears he fits right in with his teammates. He learned how to adapt to American culture and coming from a foreign country that has to be VERY hard to do. I don't think STL has a strong Russian population to hang with like the Chinese and India population do. Put yourself in his shoes and see if you could do that moving to Russia, having to adapt to another country. Granted he is a hockey star and has lots of $$$ which helps but you still have to adapt and that takes a lot of courage to change. I think Vlady is getting close to the popularity level of Yadi status to the fans of STL and will forever be loved, especially now winning the cup. I pray he plays out his career as a Blue, gets elected to the hockey HOF and receives his well deserved statue out front of Enterprise Center with Brett, Bernie and the rest of the Blues greats 👍👌😁. Stay healthy Vlady 🤞. So thankful this season turned out the way it did. To think Vlady was rumored to be on the trading block the first half of this season, OMG 🤯🤯🤯. FYI, There is an AWESOME video someone posted on you tube, quality sound and video of Vlady leaving the Enterprise Center, early am hours after they won the Cup. Vlady stops and signs autographs, takes pics and even politely accepts a beer from a Blues fan. It is an AWESOME video that shows his wonderful personality and genuine love for Blues fans. He did NOT have to do that! He had to be exhausted. I have watched it numerous times, it is so cool to see that genuine love he has for the fans and this city. 😉

My buddy helps coach his stepson as a goaltender. Tarasenko comes by the practices and he says there is so much respect for him by the kids and parents. He is not an item to take pictures with or autograph. They love his personality and willingness to help the kids and care for everyone around him. He’s a class act that we in St. Louis love to watch

I worked at a restaurant that Vlad would come in about once a week. I would be his server every now and again. He is exceptionally nice and considerate. He brings alot of his teammates to the restaurant as well.
