    He doesn’t have a very strong arm and you can see it by the offensive scheme. He doesn’t have the arm strength of Mahomes, Allen, Lawrence or Lamar Jackson to name a few. Most of his passes are short passes and the receiver (WR,TE, RB) does most of the work. The first 4
    or 5 TD’s on this reel were inside the 10 yard line. Out side of a couple of throws in the 30-ish yard range which were slightly under thrown, the longer TD’s to Chase and Boyd were 10 – 15 yards passes with the receivers did most of the work with YAC. He’s good at what he does but he is largely reliant on the talent around him. All QB’s are but Burrow, who’s just so so in terms of pure athletic talent, really needs weapons around him. We’ve seen Burrow without top notch weapons or premium protection and he’s been very regular. Just another guy. Unlike say Lamar Jackson who’s done wonders with much less. Just watch the film of both — and do so objectively. Look at what one guy brings to the table in terms of play making ability, including deep balls. Lamar regularly launches the ball 50 – 60 yards with a flick of his wrist. He doesn’t connect in them all but he has a canon. I say that with improved weapons and scheme this year his deep ball accuracy improves dramatically.

    Burrow is a great kid who I like a lot but he needs premium weapons around him to be successful.

    Looking forward to at least two great battles between the Ravens and Bengals this year!
